I'm not having our GC chances blown out of the water because you are posting bad things about VAL.

When I read the GC descriptions of the each of the other entrants and perused the team members, I came to the conclusion that PBP was way ahead. Its all about testing a science that is already attracting much attention and further evidence of that attention is the very high quality of the team.

The other entrants are not about testing a science, they are about learning more about the causes of cancer.

I reckon Modi3 would win it on its own but then you add TCR technology and determining the best combo of treatments for the individual patient.

So we are ahead at half time (Modi3) and go further ahead in the 2nd half. A bit like Man City vs Burton Albion LOL
If it works, it is pretty well the complete package that can be added to and improved on over time driven on by some of the best brains in the field.

Life is grim there.

The entry criteria (age 18 onwards and Stage 3) were less stringent than the SCIB1 trial and the "Outcome Measures" fall well short of what actually happened in the SCIB1 trial.

However, a lot more patients and a randomised trial.

Think what effect of adding SCIB1 would have.

Now this is interesting.

The thing is about PHD students working with Lindy is that the students will probably know that they are working on something really special.

This will make them keen and they can boast to fellow PHD students. I'm working with Prof Durrant on moditope, what are you working on?

Also, the carrot is there. If you do a great job, you could get a job at Scancell! This obviously worked with some of Lindy's former students.

Well if BionTech were to start a trial soon after Scancell's Modi1 trial starts and both trials were successful, surely LD would be all for it. Double validation of Moditope!
Scancell has the cheap treatment and BionTech has the expensive one if the cheap one fails.

You may well be right about the Lilly collaboration.
What do you think to the chances that BionTech are planning to trial TCR/Moditope technology themselves?
It would be worth a lot more with good clinical data.

Also they have a TCR collaboration with Lilly

Crumbs, perhaps Biontech, having the collaboration with Scancell, do not want to partner with Genentech on TCR technology at this time.

They may be either

a) waiting until a deal with Scancell is finalised
and/or
b) considering keeping the TCR/Moditope technology themselves at least as far as a P1/2 trial
