Funny you should mention RNS. You don't get RNSs on forex but you do get the equivalent as financial news such as interest rate changes or US non-farm payrolls.

You know exactly when the news is announced and you know that often the price will move decisively in 1 direction immediately following the news.
So you look for clues prior to the news and trade accordingly or not at all. Quite often a major bank or hedge fund will create a barrier by placing a number of large trades at a given level. Each time that level is hit several trades may be executed causing price to rebound. So, if you are still seeing a strong price rebound just prior to the news then trade. Sometimes the effect is dramatic.

It's actually quite relevant since my program tries to detect a turning point in the market by analysing various price events. When enough evidence is accumulated it sends in my equivalent of a CD4 attack (in actual fact a trade) LOL

I program in a language called MQL4 which is basically C++ with a load of routines thrown in to give easy access to candle/chart data.
It works by identifying where major players in the market are placing their trades by analysing the price action. Its been a long hard slog but I do feel I am now getting there now after several major revisions.

I really enjoy doing it but I will enjoy if more when it is live and making money. A toss up between my program and SCLP as to what will come good first LOL.

You are right about forecasting SCLP price movements. I am sticking to major markets such as forex Euro vs US Dollar.

I am currently writing a trading program.
Before starting this project I researched various trading methods including technical analysis.
After all it's what a lot of professional traders use.
I came to the conclusion that it is a load of c**p.

Nobody I spoke to could tell me
a) What is the mathematical formula for a particular indicator
and more importantly
b) Why that formula works

So I use price action alone and, although it is complicated, it works.
Not well enough to go live yet but going in the right direction.

I suspect that the data was designed many years ago and is now used by literally 100s of downstream systems.
So changing the list of data items to include a buy/sell indicator would mean changing those 100s of systems and would cause chaos.
I know, it is rather pathetic in this day and age.

But the trading data received by a site such as LSE does not contain a data item to indicate buy or sell. It contains the trade price, the bid and the ask and the date and time.
So logic exists on the LSE site to work out whether this is a buy or a sell.
A particular transaction on LSE may be reported as a sell but a buy on another site.
Nothing to do with the MMs.

I guess what I'm getting at is once the dose escalation determines the optimal dose, will the regulators then require extra criteria for each of the 3 expansion trials.

I know the 3 cancers carry the same 3 targets but we all know what regulators are like.

So, for instance, the Sarcoma trial may be given the green light straightaway but for TNBC it may need to be tried on more patients at the optimal dose (or even lower) before it is given the green light.

As you suggest, let's wait and see.

It might be that Sally is discussing the fine details of the trial with the regulators.
Is the dose escalation acting as a phase 1 for each of the 3 cancers?
Will the Sarcoma expansion start as soon as a particular criterion (or criteria) is met for Sarcoma?
And similarly for the other 2 cancers.

So the dose escalation uses 3 + 3.

What this slide does not say is whether there are any conditions to be met before each of the 3 expansion trials start.
e.g. must a certain criteria be met for Sarcoma in the dose escalation before the Sarcoma expansion trial starts

What it does not say on this slide is whether of not the phase 1 trials use the 3 + 3 methodology
Potentially a big trial by Scancell standards (maximum of 85 patients)

Maybe I am jumping the gun.
I did have a conversation with Wild back on 1st Feb about 3 + 3 trial design which was used in the SCIB1 trial.
And that particular phase 1 trial design is used to determine the dose to be used in phase 2.
Apologies if I got this wrong for the Modi1 trial.

Let's also not forget that citrullination threw up 37 targets at the last count.
To answer the question "which targets are likely to be expressed most in which cancers" must have taken a long time to answer. Lindy has finally settled on 3 specific targets and 3 specific cancers for Modi1. But there are no certainties and that is why the 3 + 3 model is adopted for the trial. Not just to optimise the dose but also to confirm which cancers are treated in phase 2.

The message that Moditope is something special is difficult to get across to new investors.
Take Lindy's presentation at the Calculus investor event last February. You could almost feel the audience's eyes glazing over as Lindy explained the science. No questions at the end of the presentation.

The obvious answer is data, so come on Scancell get those trials underway.

Where other companies are struggling is finding the targets.
So technologies like TCR have the capability to isolate and clone an exact TCell such as a CD4.

Great, but the TCell must have a target that exists on the tumour but not on healthy cells and this is where Moditope currently has the edge.
This edge is made considerably greater by the natural chain reaction that Moditope unleashes. So "low TCell infiltration" of the tumour is all that is required. It ceases to become a battle and becomes more of a rout.

Maybe the initial dose in the phase 1 Modi1 trial will actually trigger that chain reaction in some patients. Who knows but it is a possibility IMO.
