None of us are cancer research scientists but it does help to have a basic understanding of what you are buying into.

A partnership with a pharma like Genentech/Roche who have a wealth of experience on getting trials through to the approval stage might appeal to Scancell.

The TCells are target specific.
So Lindy finds the targets and checks whether specific TCells exist for those targets in the human repertoire of TCells.
She will also check that healthy tissue does not exhibit the targets.
The immunobody vaccine will then activate the TCells (but only the TCells for the specific targets) and also cause clonal expansion of these activated TCells thus causing a much greater population to attach to the targets.
The vaccine itself can have multiple targets (SCIB2 has 16).

I don't think that Vulpes is a normal fund in the same way as a unit trust or investment trust.
I sounds more like a vehicle for investment for the Diggle family and mates.
Perhaps investors have the choice of what shares they are invested in within the portfolio.
It just sounds like a possibility judging by the wording of the RNS for the purchase of Dec 17th and the recent sales.

Yes I understand Knowlesi but Stephen Diggle made a huge return on the Hedge fund he managed.

I would imagine their bio fund is close to being fully invested at the moment, so they just needed cash for opportunities. They may have sold a lot more of other holdings.
