Too many people watching cruise liner rescues and imagining it’s the AM. Suppose if you’re short term investing then you might be spooked. It’s white noise. Foil is just round the corner.
Hio hum I bought a few at the higher price around 4.00pm This share frustrates me.........however, so say all the oilers on AIM atm. Up and down like the proverbial .Never thought I’d be back in after 16p to 10p in the new year. Oh well in for apenny? Keep the faith eh?
Just removed mine and I’m off to the pub. Will have the same effect as RMP - initial euphoria followed by hangover and empty wallet.
Oh well, at least it wasn’t death by a thousand cuts - pretty devastating with just one RNS. Will flog my holding on the next dead cat bounce and buy a beer with what’s left. Onwards and downwards.AIM Oilers seem a little tricky this year.......just my observation.
Been watching the rugby. Suggest you all do the same this avo. (With a beer). Let’s see what Monday holds-if anything.......could be later in the week. Exciting eh? R
Depending on which direction the boat points ........go long or short!..........before anyone asks, I’ve been here since 2014. My investment decision was based simply on meeting Neil Platt - seemed like a nice chap. (Coincidently he was also completely focussed on Hurricane and its outcomes with the capability, personality and charisma to help achieve it). Over and out..........might raise me game to post a little more. Keep the faith. As ever DYOR.
Must have dropped the rope!
Agree with the poster..........why expose your asset to force 10 when you can wait a couple of days and do the hook up without risk. Been in H for 4 years. I can wait another couple of days.
Four oilers in the portfolio. Genl, Hur, Aaog and Matd. Genl has taken the smallest hit for the day. Didn’t think any of them deserved to go down. (Apart from maybe Matd). But what do I know!
Gustavo-you and me both single digit posters. Your average and sentiments mirror my own.
In simple terms can anyone tell me why GKP is going north and GENL south. Cluelessly yours R
Been in and out of BPC for six years. Very rarely to my advantage. It’s AIM. Moving on for good now. They may come good but not prepared to gamble again.............there’s more oilers about with better short term prospects and better assistance from respective governments. Toddle-loo all.
Thank -you JL and Hawkey. My posts will be infrequent - I’m not sure I can add anything of great worth but I do enjoy the observations of all posters here. As for my exit strategy- I really don’t have one whilst the recovery is on. My original investment price would by nice - but probably a long time coming. My broker was an ex-RAF type, best visited AM rather than PM. As for the posting name.........born out of way too much beer one evening and possessing a stationary engine that made a lot of unnecessary noise. ATB.
First post although stalking for years. In genel for a while now. First buy in was at 430 (ouch) and carried on down from there!! Got some more around 120 as a result slightly in profit. Enough for a decent meal out........loved the morning reports from JL. Sad they’re stopping. I’m going to stick with g for a while. Have had several other oilers that have also been challenging including a 20/1 consolidation! Ultimately, it’s all a game and if you can’t afford to lose the dosh don’t invest. JL’s summary of the barrow boys is correct. It’s stil a mates game where it counts...........I just get lucky or follow an upward trend. Of course I do the research, but correlation between what should be a winner and what actually makes money is an art that predominantly eludes me. I’ve found my betfair account gives me more winners! Come to think of it, in the days when one had a broker, I used to buy on a T10 - he used to call me a gambler! All the best to everyone here I hope you all profit from your investments large or small.
