hI boyo,
thanks for the comments and charts. Always interesting and useful.
Genl: surely a rise is imminent due to (hopefully positive!) results from recent drilling at QD? As you and others have said before, the BB and Miran debarcle is crazy, both because of what the KRG are trying to pull, and because the gas wasn't priced in anyway. But the negative sentiment seems to depressing the SP regardless of impact on the business.
CWR: definitely some good trading opportunity there. Sadly i missed selling at the recent peak. I'll see how far it drops and may buy a bit more for trading. I'm more interested in it long-term though.
TGP: you might be right about it being a dud - but i hope not. I find it hard to see what the problem is with the company, which appear to be doing well in a sector that is apparently doing well. I wonder if there is an element of Covid related delays to some of these big wind turbine infrastructure projects which is causing Tekmar cash flow issues. As long as they can ride it out without needing to raise capital and dilute, the SP should turn around eventually. Also with a current market cap of £24 mill could they get snapped up by one of the larger Wind Turbine companies wanting to bring their skills in-house? Idle speculation, but it seems plausible. There still seems to be a large amount of the shares owned by big investment companies. Shroders reduced by around 5%, but still have >16%.
BIRD, thanks for the reminder. I did look it up when you mentioned it before. Looks very interesting. Will look again.
