Couple of this from your post.

The wording "the asset" sound very singular. Which leads me to think something is going to be sold or cherry picked to stave off the death of Echo.

The exchange rate has aways been a contentious thing for me as pounds to us dollars or local currency always seemed to be spouted as being in Echo's favour even when it didn't.

This is a shame company it owns nothing it trades nothing. I haven't seen a single photo of an asset, a well head or a lift pump that's leads me to believe that they own one.
The war in Ukraine really kicked them where it hurts. A massive increase in oil and gas prices which sho7ld have seen this share rocket. But if they didn't really have any oil and gas Wells then the house of cards had no foundation.
So keep coming up with ways not to turn a golden penny. Come up with ways to spend money so that there is no profit from these massive increases in oil and gas prices. Bottleneck works, workovers and strikes so there are no production increases. They are p4oducing the same as 2 years ago and any profit from increased market prices are rubbed out with fictitious costs.

With this shares I've not seen a negative or a drop prior to a news release. Old leaky AIM always seems to pump it up before it to falls.

Interoil is due to release its monthly's next week, very few look back at Echo's historical monthly like on like figures (Echo don't give us that we have to rely on a very small partner to keep us informed).

We have had 2 to 3 years of work over promises, bottleneck works, well re-openings and move work over promises. But there has been no news on these, we did have a Solar scare too but not fizzed out before the sun got up.

Even ABZ has this in his bottom drawer.
