Parliament is on...a few MPs on present. They are slow, they are ineffective and they are not particularly smart. They are going through amendments to the different committee reports and I would rather watch paint dry

I disagree with the China involvement allegations for 3 main reasons:

1. Ghana at loggerheads with China over rampant illegal gold mining

2. ALL has received all the necessary regulatory approvals, with the sole exception of parliamentary ratification — reversing this now would reflect very poorly

3. Ghana is already involved in a dispute with another mining company that can lead to very heavy financial losses. The final hearing for Cassius Mining's arbitration case against Ghana is scheduled for June 15-19, 2026, at the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands, according to news reports

What really amazed me about that article is their bold decision to completely ignore standard cost metrics like ASCI or C1. The Net Present Value (NPV) was estimated at $1.3 billion, based on a long-term spodumene price of $1,410 per metric ton and an All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) of $675 per metric ton.

Assuming a revised long-term spodumene price of $1,200/mt and a new AISC of $648/mt over the life of mine (with $510/mt for Years 1–3), the updated NPV is expected to be at $995m

Please note that this revised AISC does not account for potential revenue from secondary product sales at 1.5% grade, nor from feldspar sales.

As regards MergeCo, KM stated on the last interview on the Rock Stock channel (end of Feb) that MergeCo had already contributed with $5m out of the $70m - how that works, I don't know.

I got lost regarding in how much Piedmont owe us, and I would think that to some point they might be right in not paying, as the project is currently stalled and we have are no longer in an exploration phase, but not yet on a development phase - who is right or who is wrong?
