I dont think Navitas want to issue more shares, are they in a postion to issue more ?

A plausable idea is pretty simple, funds. They would have to find say £250M and then the finance for FID on top. At the moment they can lend RKH some funds later on and get it back at 8% from nearly all the production. Also I think Islanders and FIG have some interest in RKH staying around at the moment since they own some shares.

I would be suprised if there isnt another partner involved. Fields of SL size generally have 3,4,5 partners.

I think Navitas would like another partner for funding, maybe sell off 20%. Dont think they in a posistion for take overs right now.

Already priced in to some degree. The 3 year chart shows things are moving forward though since Navitas.

OM doesnt have much value for the company until the developement funding is in place. The current ~£100 milion MCAP is more than OM is worth to RKH in the absense of the funding. Its a matter of the market being confident of the funding coming through. Once it comes through the game is changed. We should see Jungles's chart from years ago finally start to come true.

Navitas are nearly there with Shenandoah. SL has some similar characteristics, rinse and repeat.

Anadarko discovered the deepwater field by drilling the Shenandoah-1 exploration well in the Walker Ridge block 52 in 2009. Drilled to a total depth of 30,000ft into the Inboard Lower Tertiary Wilcox Play of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, the discovery well witnessed 300ft net oil pay.

The total budget for the project is USD 1.8 billion (for 100% of the interests in the project). Fully committed capital for the entire project has been raised in the form of equity and credit facility. An investment of USD 1.8 billion was made prior to Navitas Petroleum’s entry in the project.

The project area spans 14,400 acres with water depths ranging between 1,700m and 1,900m.

Much shallower water and less pressures involved, they can handle this.......

With funding and FID this becomes a different beast ! Like a light switch going on.

Funding has always been the hurdle RKH have tried to get over since 2010. FID would mean funding is place and Oscar thinks it will only be worth 15p ? OM, funding and FID I think this could be beyond 50p, with IIs starting to suck up the shares towards production. Maybe even an offer in 2025 for the lot.

A free carry which had a value, to a loan that is a cost, surely that isnt taxable.
