Absolute madness! They are going to try and reduce the UKs miserly 1% of contribution of global Co2 by throwing £29 billion at it. We are NOT the Co2 good guys, China expels our Co2 on our behalf as we buy everything from them. This whole thing is a scam! Delsuional western govenements are going to take us back to poverty!

I think FID mid 2025. Its gamble im putting some monthly wages on to increase holdings on weakness. So im going to buy a few today.

The article is somewhat fake, the discovery only has an edge in the UK area, which isnt really the UKs to do as they please anyway.

Probably wont rise enough to knock our socks off knowing RKH. But as high value items, rigs etc start to make their way to the Falklands I cant see how this wont start to rise.

Oil price is dropping on fears of a US recession. A US recession would likely trigger interest rates cuts by the FED and that will actually make finance cheaper.

I would think the "Uni/College Kids" are more into to crypto and meme stocks than AIM Oilers. Like me, ChessM is just projecting his thoughts, there is no evidence to prove it.

If we get a posistive FID, then we have alot of value to catch up on. RKH has been battered by the doomed PMO partnership, the market needs the assurity of positive FID to start to re-value RKH.

Value will out in the end. As long lead items are ordered and steel starts getting cut, contracts signed etc. Jungles' chart will start to make sense. I am buying when I can for under 15p. Got a few more this morning.

That reminded me of a US scientist (cant remember his name ), he got shut down and cancelled. But he was suggesting that an awful lot of the US Weather/temp stations had been in the same place for 100 years and the towns had grown upto and around them and the human habitation all around them has raised the temperature. Although that wouldn't account for the ocean temps.

You are just repeating the same, the consensus is a lie, they were sent a simple questionare. Do you work for the BBC?

Scientific understanding is when you can predict the outcome, we do NOT have full understanding, since we can't predict. Maybe they will in the coming years, but right now they dont. To consign future generations to expensive energy and quite frankly a miserable existance based on not yet fully understood causes or even its long term affects is not acceptable to me.

There are some scientists that dont think its Co2 per se, they are leaning more towards Water Vapour in the atmosphere. But any questioning gets you cancelled etc. Not Scientific at all, its politics.

Fast rates of change have happened before.

Also the "Scientific Consensus:" that is routinely thrown out is disingenuous, all they did was to send Scientists a few boxes to tick. They did not partake in an actual scientific debate or read any actaul papers to give their answers. Tick yes and send it back is all that happened. Scientists are having to omit data and opinions that go against this "consensus" or they dont get funding etc.

The models they have for predicting the future temps are also not correct, when they apply them to older periods in time when we know the Co2, temp and what then the future temps were etc, they are failing to predict, which means there is NOT full understanding. That is a problem.

I have noticed winters not having much frost/snow these days thoughout the season, used to be a solid few months of frost in the 1970s/80s. Thing is, over a bigger time frame, like 500000 years the temperature has been going up and down anyway. I think we are contributing to it being slightly hotter , but its been rising anyway since a global cool down likely caused by comet/asteroid strikes ~13000 years ago:

Wont happen. Storage is cheap and available these days, data is backed up.

A take over after FID is more likely if the SP doesnt move, as things are getting ordered and steel cut out etc etc. Dividends isnt the only thing that lifts SP in the Oil market.

If its a standout "no brainer" then surely they would already have done it ?
