You are being pedantic and a smart Alec, but I think you already know this. If there were going to be protests and/or court cases, they would already have happened or been initiated. I have indeed checked their website, and there aren't any judgments on hydrocarbons I can find, although pending cases don't seem to be shown.

Agreed, maybe not the BPs and Shells, but surely many mid cap Oilers should be looking at the FI ? No chance of the nutters protesting and launching court cases etc. Looks like one of the best places in the world for mid caps to get involved ! This could even become a meme stock.
