Agreed, it looks like a perfect storm for RKH and FI. Anyone with any sense knows it's time for an exodus from the North Sea. I can't think of any better opportunities than FI right now. If FID is successful, then I expect things to change very rapidly. RKH could get a stellar offer; like the North Sea, there is 50+ years' worth of production, so any price would have a forward-looking value attached to it, and that could be a big surprise for SP.

Chess—Yes, the current production in the North Sea will be smaller; forties, I think, is about 20,000 barrels a day now. With Forties being 50 years in production now, I think other companies will be coming in sooner than many think. The UK GOV does not support the North Sea; in fact, they are trying to kill it off to meet their CO2 delusions. Europe as a whole is having similar delusions and isn't oil-friendly.

I hope RKH will get an offer they can't refuse as they approach 1st Oil; I don't want to hang around for a stream of dividends. I think Sam will want to retire pretty soon too.

I think a ballpark £200 million profit RKH a year should give an MCAP of ~£2billion, based on 35% phase 1. A take out as 1st oil approaches for phase 1 should be atleast £3 billion imho.

I am wondering if more partners will come on board and develop the "south area," which includes Isobel, in parallel, perhaps one being a new operator. So, there will be two separate campaigns. That would rocket the SP

MD, you won't be sharing a rig. Isobel needs to be drilled after SL. BOR and South are stuffed in the near term unless new partners come in and get their own rig.

Could it be Shell ? They drilled in 1998.
