I'm just wondering if FID is a green light, what sort of statement would Milei make? It's likely to cause a flurry of news, and the Argentine government will have to say something. It seems unlikely they will start banning Israelis/Israeli companies from Argentina, etc. How would they handle it ?

If FID fails, yeh. The OM doesn't matter anymore, the £30 million won't matter much. FID comes in, a small placing will cover it, like the 10% drop in SP, its now priced in. FID isn't priced in.

TBH I dont see much point going. Its all about the FID money, a binary issue, everything else is hot air at the moment.

ChessGambiteer - Well, nobody saw the annulment torpedo coming! Still in shock, lol. Maybe it is time to think of what could go wrong or delay. What if the recent tariff/oil price drop has caused the financiers to want 6, 9 months or whatever, solid oil production and some debt paid off before they will green light? But as long as FID did happen, it would be a great chance to load up. I'm 90% sure this will happen. You have to admit, Gideon seems to be a bit of a luminary, and I can't see him turning around and shelving it; he would severely damage his reputation.

I'm guessing he has never given a thumbs down FID?

Gimponhere - Why did you join this board at the start of January, as RKH started to rise and post nothing but negative predictions? Did you sell out before the rise with a huge loss, and now you are upset and want to lash out at RKH?
