With the Right Wing Italian government now in power, I can only see them delaying and using every trick they can. So if it does go to asset impounding, I just want to have an idea of how exactly that takes place and how long it could take.
Im sure the Italian public would also back the government telling an Oil company to do one, Oil companies have a bad reputation, especially these days. They could score some brownie points by being as combative as they can.
I cant help but think there are more twists and turns ahead, I really cant see it being a simple decision shortly.
Not relevant, but I find the idea of a central government being bullied in this way unacceptable, I can understand claiming back costs, but future earnings is a bridge too far for me. I don't like the idea of private companies now being able to hurt countries on a decision that is surely their sovereign right.
