Dougnew...in addition to the four stocks you mention, I also have AVCT, ORPH, Gilead, IDH, SYN and Deepverge - all have Covid elements in their business. Quite diversified as you can see. Not all will be Covid stars, but they all have non-covid aspects to their businesses. And I also have pharmas that are not covid-related in my portfolio. And that's not to mention all the miners/oil & gas/tech companies I also hold shares in....

Good advice, Earth. I've mugged by MMs dropping the price by several % for a few minutes before it hikes up again. Don't use stop losses now.

Monitoring sewage to detect Covid-19 outbreaks is effective, the Government has revealed as it plans to expand the programme across the country.

Scientists have been trialing the method since June, and have found that they can see spikes early on in areas which have low testing.

The programme to analyse sewage for traces of coronavirus will now be used to provide an early warning for local outbreaks. It can also give a clearer picture of asymptomatic spread, and show a surge before people develop symptoms.

Officials from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) said the method is successfully detecting fragments of genetic material from the virus in waste water.

Data from this testing, which has been rolled out to more than 90 waste water treatment sites across the UK, is being shared with the Joint Biosecurity Centre as part of NHS Test and Trace.

Earth...here's some advice - don't take advice from these message boards. There is a wealth of really good analysis, research and informed opinion, but there is also a lot of nonsense (not to mention trolling and verbal abuse). You can't always be sure of people's motives for what they are posting; in many cases they are entirely self-serving.
By all means read people's posts, but DYOR and go with your own analysis and instincts.
