Jewell...it sounds like you have an ISA with AJB (it will have a £20000 top-up max), so if you are maxed out there, how about opening an ISA in your wife's, or daughter's name? You will then be able to put another £20000 in each, and anything you make will be sheltered from CGT. Good luck!!

I have ben surfing this stock since May (buying, slicing, topping up), and mostly have bought on the lows and sold on highs. So it has provided me with a nice trickle of income since then. Holding for the moment, though.

The platform which shows the real-time buy & sell orders being stacked up for a stock, the prices buyers are asking for (Ask) and the price sellers are bidding for (Bid). It gives you advance warning (sort of) of which way a stock is likely to head.

I use AJ Bell. They don’t always have a current SP, and they won’t let you trade VELA, but generally OK. Trades cost around £6

MMs are after shares here - just tried a dummy sell no problem. Buying value 2:1 to selling value. MMs ticking price down to trigger stop-losses from those who bought higher this morning, and to panic weak holders into selling. Today's close should be IRO 120

It could be traders on one of the free platforms having a laugh. I've seen 1s on lots of stocks over the last few days, with no subsequent RNSs. Also seen 911s, 111s, 1,2,3,4,5 (in quick succession)..all amounts to nothing

Sorry to hear, Tiger Ted. I held tight. You can still buy back, and hopefully enjoy a further rise. If the company issues an RNS denying the fake news, that should pump the SP by a few percent.
