I don't get that impression from Biker's 16.20 reply, but, fair point. We should always think about the impact on others of what we write /say.

Given today's rise, and the volume of buys vs sells, I'm expecting a gap up on opening tomorrow.

Who can say. When GDR's RNS dropped this afternoon, there was a massive dump of shares before the MMs even had a chance to start racking the price up. It's now up over 20%

I'm taking a look back at this after selling out in the mid-teens during the summer highs. Looks a real bargain. How come it's so low - because gold is out of fashion?
Looking to buy in again when funds become available.

Also, spreads increase when MMs are uncertain of which way the sp will go. Hedging their bets.
