Got to say that give all the positives this isn't exactly motoring, id say its barely in second gear, very sluggish, yet as mentioned on here when ever there is a hint of bad news (shhh) it drops right back, would have hoped that the market would have at least started to build a bit more confidence back into this in recent days rather than just being happy with a px of £2.70 stability. One of the most frustrating shares i own, end of term report says, plods along, easily distracted when it has the ability to become top of the class, i expect to seem more effort next year.

@Paul85uk, mmmmmmmmm, not ideal all the good news was costed in over the months from initial lockdown so was only going to go one way after results, you'll be fine L/T , bit like my no of BH shares 38k @ £3.29 , got greedy and should have cashed in at £4.00 but was waiting for £4.50 all, i'm now long , LoL

Amazon are massively struggling with their young fashion offer. If they really want to dominate this sector then they have to totally change the online experience. Amazon Clothing is not cool and under current guise never will be, it's considered to be in the same market as the Asda, Tescos, Sainsburys etc , to change the mindset now is a herculean task. Bolting on an existing Brand somehow is the way forward but without detracting from that Brands appeal or landing page, eg Asos, Boo Hoo, Topshop/Topman, are where its at but this is of course is provided they even want to get involved in the fast fashion sector.

Always hots up on here towards 4.30, normally it's about closing px so i'm quite enjoying the change of beef, which appears to be how much people made, or didn't make, or when they sold, or when the didn't sell or whether they are a ramper or non ramper anyway really doesn't matter how you trade it as long as you make money, btw if you did it's vulgar to say how much.
Hope to see this share nice and shiny on Monday morn after a good weekends rest, sincerely hope it doesn't go out on the **** Sat night to pub, sat around with a group of more than 6 other shares coz pics bound to make Sunday papers.

Well just come on here for my daily digest and it's good to see the fizz back on the board, yesterday was much more mundane and some of usual players appeared to be away (no names) probably getting their warrior keyboards sharpened, anyway looks like normal service has resumed, for any newbies stick with it amongst the vitriol you will find some nuggets of info, especially look out for posts by Ragtrade.

Just a quick note on fast fashion, stats show it's mainly thrown away due to being covered in vomit.

Wyndrum not sure if you have read the many many posts i have out on here re this, if not please go on my thread, there will not be any higher production costs, already they produce 60/70% depending on the season out side the UK, and as im sure you will agree CMT costs are cheaper in Asia than UK. eg min/living wage for UK over 25 is £8.21 p/h in India a min wage depending on the State can be as low and in some cases lower than £0.50p p/h , a living wage which some sectors do pay can be double that, also these are gross amounts. Hopefully this answers your question re costs.

@Kitty , yes continuation of what we saw in first L/D good for BH but this does make life difficult for Karen Millen, this will be one of the more challenging Brands in their portfolio especially as Xmas is traditionally massive for KM and they do not have a huge casualwear offer

For the last few weeks working with any factory in Leics is being treated like walking on glass, everyone is treading very very very carefully, even the carpet is being lifted up and really any factory that was not compliant is living on borrowed time as they will have been dropped like a hot sack of spuds . There is a need for garment factories is this country and the ones that are compliant will be stacked out, if anything this whole incident will unwittingly change the Leics Factory landscape which was def long overdue.
