The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
So much negativity Scamp, I think you have no clue what you are saying. Haydale will not do another printing of shares. The downtrend is reversed and they will steadily go up in price. The market is optimistic because a new CFO was appointed and there are lot's of contracts signed. Why don't you just buy now enough so that you can return all the money you lost and stop scaring everyone?
Scamp is just angry for some reason at Haydale, look at his posts, he always just talks negatively about Haydale, I think it's not fair because this company is really working hard and there's lot of progress being made.
To be honest I think the RNS is not so bad after all. Why I think that, well... You have a company that has being losing money and has dropped 95% in a year, maybe changing CFO is not a bad idea. But regardless, let's wait and see what they anounce in the following days, because at the bottom of the RNS it says that they will make another anouncement soon. I don't think this RNS is that bad as scamp is painting it.
MorningStar today wrote about Haydale's performance. That extra loss is due is something the company is not extremely worried about: https://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/news/AN_1571133298736802500/haydale-graphene-loss-deepens-amid-impairments-in-challenging-year.aspx
7 million loss is not = 7 million debt. They did significant investment and re-structuring from which yet they have not seen return. In 1 to 3 years this is going to be very successful. If this was a dead horse they wouldn't receive a Loan from the Bank of Wales and also they wouldn't receive that extra nearly 2 million grant that was given to them.
Those 7 million loss needs to be observed in context, I think you are wrong.
It wasn't an easy year but I see lot's of signs of recovery. They were cautious and this is reflected in the statement. I agree that there is risk in Haydale but I don't think they are any near sinking or anything alike. They have the capacity to deliver and profit in the following 1 - 3 years. I am definitely buying them now using some disposable cash, aiming for the long term. I like having a bit of risk in my portfolio.
I can't wait for the interim report. TBH they don't really have debt, this company can survive without problem for another couple of years at least. Probably this is the best buy opportunity since this company exists.
The price is today at historic low for :
Is this company dying? Maybe is a market overall thing? I just don't understand why Haydale's price is collapsing this way.
I think the next results are in February. Anybody knows something? Maybe some internal disputes or what could actually be the reason for this? Do you think maybe some investors followed RG and sold HAYD and bought PlannarTech?
@Scampthedog
What makes you think that they will not be solvent in the near future?
The fundamental show that Haydale passes the ACID test.

They have quite a few contracts:(british gas, space agency, anti counterfiting inks(thailand), diabetes tests...)
They have money coming in and their EPS is slowly going to get positive. I think in less than 2 years Haydale it's going to be a very prosperous company.
You are sharing old information from August 2017.
What is new in regards to this?

Hi Kondratiev,
welcome to the chat. I am also not new to Haydale but at the same time not so new. I went into it maybe a bit less than a year ago so even if I am at a loss, not as much as some of the longterm holders. I probably shoulda done a bit more research into the graphene industry before.
All I can tell you regarding to your comments is that I think Haydale has a lot of potential. We just need to be patient. I would say at least 1 more year before we can see some recovery in the share price. Little results are starting to be visible and the management to me seems cautious and focused. Hopefully this years reports will be good and the enthusiasm for this investor will come back. For me Haydale is a buy right now.
