Personally i think that John Story will play a bigger part in the future of the company than at present. I would not be at all surprised to see him become a Director in the near future with an additional investment to the one he has already made. I have thought for a while now that whilst the company clears the decks from the past and secures various compensation claims, FG needs to think of the companies sustainability and corporate governance. New avenues call for people with the correct and relevant experience and i think now its time to expand the Board to allow for the growth initiatives being planned. Clear Leisure basically has been for the last 5 years just one person.....FG. Now is the time for change and talking of which i think we will see a name change very soon as the Leisure sector will have no relevance going forward. The drop over the last two sessions has been overdone but it allows for an opportunity for those who believe that this company is just about to morph into something quite exciting! GLA....

I think you will find that the claim for 10.8m actually gives the game away as to how much they face paying out!!

The judge has set the hearing for consideration of the expert reports for 10 March 2021.
The Company remains confident on the strong foundations of the claim.
Francesco Gardin, Executive Chairman and CEO of Clear Leisure, commented, “We are very pleased with the tight timeline, set by the Venice judge, for the Sipiem claim. The March 2021 hearing is expected to be extremely informative as the amount of claimed damages will be formally submitted by the independent expert in his report to the judge”.

It is very clear that todays hearing is for the announcement of value of the claim only.

I recall you visiting the waterpark RKB whilst you were in Italy ( you may have even have splashed out on an ice cream for Mrs RKB if i remember rightly!), it must at last give you some satisfaction that the case is so close to being finalised although i'm sure you have mixed feelings knowing just how busy and successful it was at the time and that CLP |(and shareholders) have actually lost out over the years from a potential gold mine during summer months.
Onwards and upwards tomorrow and if the result is favourable as you hint then todays drop will prove insignificant!

FG confirmed by RNS in his August/September update 4 years ago after he returned to the company that the company does indeed have previous usable losses to that value. Look back through the old RNS and its clearly there!
