I wouldn’t buy shares for the dividend as the price will be adjusted after ex divi date. Furthermore, the adjusted price will most likely trigger stop losses and thus bring the SP even further down.
It’s best to average down when the drop stops and look for a flatline or upwards trend, but DYOR
I just had to bail out of this share due to alot of uncertainties. I don't think it's a good idea to keep a share until ex-dividend date if you know the share will go down or you have a desire to sell. However, LTH should do their own research, and good luck.
Oh, now I get it.
RB already provisioned 400M and today’s drop wiped 3BN from MCAP. So you could say it has already been priced in, so the worst case scenario is out of the way, and mid case scenario would be sharing the 3BN fine (theoretical but it always is exaggerated) between the two companies. The best case scenario would be that RB get’s a fine of 400M, which would be a non event.
RB’s CEO is leaving, so they can easily expedite this now and start with a clean slate of PR.
As usual, the sell off is always overdone.
How are they connected?

Yes that’s right. I’m glad it broke the 8p mark
I don’t know why Conn is still allowed to be at the helm. Why don’t Blackrock, Schröders, Majedie and the likes of Newton Investment Management put pressure on the BoD as major shareholders?
We definitely need activist investor for an effective BoD.
I guess you could say 3rd time Lucky when they resubmit to FDA.
The only way this share can see light at the end of a tunnel and put the BoD’s Feet to the fire is inviting Activist Investors. Only these guys have the real power and influence to make or break this share and no one else, not even the BoD.
Take over pharma to create new medicines, says top adviser https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-47719269
Hey Love_You,
This exercise is pointless, because even the Institutional Investors aren’t giving the CNA BoD a hard time so the Minnow PI’s have no influence. You would have better luck begging Elliott Hedge Fund to take a small stake and become an activist investor to get the job done property.
I suppose you can always ask MTFB Investor Relations to get an accurate and official answer in black and white.
Yup, seems like a new derampers and have filtered now
Based on the negativity, I’m convinced there may be paid derampers amongst us.
Normally, I don’t like to filter as I like to hear both sides of the argument like watching BBC and RT, but some derampers have been relentless. What is their main objective and why would such an altruistic person waste their time here day in day out?
I say this is the best time for Vodafone to buy its own share at these low bargain basement price. What Vodafone is doing is very clever regarding repaying the convertible bonds and reducing dividend expense, whilst keeping shareholders happy.
