I would love to see AMP liquidate all of their MTFB shares to eliminate that variable in affecting the share price.
Oh and DYOR
just keep your nerve and accumulate by way of averaging down.
It’s not impossible to fathom that MM can infiltrate BB or employ paid posters. I’m always suspicious of posters who are not invested in the share but spend time and effort to comment on the share.
That’s right, just accumulate more when the MM bring the price down. They will eventually have to cover their short positions and this beating in their own game. I’ll collect the dividend and patiently wait for the recovery as I’m in no rush to crystallise.
What you need to understand is that even a broken clock is right once a day.
With HSBC’s buy recommendation, it seems that the momentum is gathering for this share to rise.
Furthermore, the 5G will bring much needed frenzy to bring telco shares back in fashion now that those who didn’t used to upgrade their handsets every year or two will need to upgrade to the 5G compatible phones.
The best way to beat the hedgies and snorters is to buy and hold, especially adding on the dips and that will drastically hurt the MM. The main reason PI lose out to these professionals is that they are more patient than your average joe investors.
This is a dividend paying share that makes profit of 25-30M per year and is valued at 80M. So you do the maths, it’s a ridiculous valuation that I rarely see in the stock market and a rare opportunity indeed. DYOR.
I’m surprised why you guys haven’t filtered all the obvious derampers. Do it, you’ll feel a lot better.
The BoD should learn their lessons from the unexpected CRL and have a Iron clad backup plan ready to execute for all of the 3 outcomes, especially the one that’s the least best. They should also go one step further and pre-prepare the RNS and have an English teacher proof read it as a sense check.
The BoD are rightly criticised, and I would never like to invest in any companies where they happen to hold a directorship role.
That’s correct and I’ve now managed to filter that deramper and the board is clean now
I suggest those who want to exit, just sell and go away and keep the board clean and focus on your other investments.
It’s best to wait for the real information once the minutes are out rather than a guesswork.
The total equity on balance sheet is 73M and the Market Cap is 88M, which is astonishing. And the P/E ratio is 3.69, which is unbelievable.
EBIT of 20M for a company valued at 88M cannot be found elsewhere in the stock market.
Out of curiosity how much did you guys lose?
The drop is overdone, it should pickup from now onwards.
The usual vultures will arrive on this BB soon and destroy the integrity of the conversations.
I think the FDA did not give them any indication which way their decisions will sway and perhaps ended the meeting with “We will let you know of our decision when we publish the minutes”.
It would be ridiculous to give an answer on the meeting and expect the BoD to keep quiet about it. Therefore, no point in speculating, and it’s beat to wait for the Minutes.
You can look on the bright side and say to yourself that all the bad news is out of the way, now let’s concentrate on the growth of 5G as I think customers of BT can ditch their land line and take a 5G Router from VOD.
Good points H-hi.
In this day and age, I don’t know why we need to buy shares via brokers when in could be bought directly from a regulated auction, which exactly what the stock market is. The CREST account could act like a brokerage account where you name your price for buying or selling shares via the auction.
So it definitely was a leak and only the powerful hedgies and fund managers can get away with it.
I presume it’s cheaper to have a journalist on the payroll of hedgies and fund managers than to employ a team of analysts.
