JJ my weather comment was about TC having customers from Germany , Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands as well as UK
so the weather in those countres affect demand like in UK its not all about the weather in UK
my comment that the weather all over Northern Europe is BAD so therefore this confirms that demand should be higher than 2018 from late bookings even though early bookings in Jan / Feb were about 10% lower

JJ you have misinterpreted my comments
the EBIT figure you quote is for all TC including airline and THIS is the figure that can be manipulated by excluding items that they consider not to be like for like (ie underlying)
the figure i quote is the bottom of line after tax , other items which a loss of £16.3m (this is actual figure) agreed by auditors no manipulation

JJ also the results you quote were for the whole business including the airline not just the tour operator business

Also TC is a European business so the weather in UK is not only factor the weather in Nordics and Germany is also a factor - this also has been awful so far in summer 2019 so good news for bookings overll

JJ bottom line results were a Loss of £16.3m hence a negative EPS of 10.6 see above

EPS are minus 10.6 so 25p is a bonus, BOD will be lucky to get that and walk away with big payouts - if somebody does not rescue this , they will have no jobs after running this company into the dirt

Jet 2 have knocked TC to the kerb and become no 2 in the industry, well managed not driven into the ground

well Jeffries was saying 43p when i was saying 15p, then they reduced it to 24p nuff said

what happens when debtis 10 times equity as it nearly is now

the cash is from customers who have paid in advance so its not really cash in advance , you have to deduct the debt , its cash position is massively negative - if it has cash why would it be going out and constantly borrowing?
They have just reduced Brand by 33% on one swoop the rest could go so easily
