CDX:
A bi-specific antibody (CDX) originated to Condition (clean) leukaemia patients blood prior to bone marrow transplant. Conditioning is currently done via chemo which is an awful treatment and for which 60% of leukaemia suffers are too ill to under go. Subsequently CDX has been shown in mice to eliminate leukaemia removing the need for Chemo & blood transfusion.

Additionally CDX bi-specific antibodies can lower toxicity of other therapies. On singing Eli Lilly will be able to use CDX resuscitate failed treatments within the margins CDX can reduce toxicity. There's an enormous opportunity to use CDX to troll failed trails of competitors and smaller cap companies & buy for peanuts.

2015's IPO prospects estimated US & UK bone marrow conditioning market at $3.7b. Hemo may expand market, plus can add on decent chunk for treating ALL leukaemia.

CAR-T Cell:
Signed sponsored deal with pioneers Penn State Uni to progress to phase 1 trails.

Hu-PHEC:
Cornell University CEO Dr Sandler discovered way to extract white blood cells from adult patients. These blood cells are grown and transfused back into patient. Removing need for blood donors and the issues with finding a match and rejection of transfusion. Being developed to treat blood cancer and has broader autoimmune applications.

COVID & Humanised Mice (ApbHC):
Commercialised mice (12% royalty) with 95% human immune system, have double function, pre-clinical testing enabling flawed therapies to be idendified early, improving and speeding up trials and reducing costs.

Secondly used to idendity specific antibodies e.g. COVID, Lupus etc, since March Hemo have been using mice to screen most effective antibodies from convalescent plasma. Approx 62 COVID antibodies exist. Humanised mice offer a superior method to cheaply and quickly select the best antibodies.

COVID Vaccine:
Collaborator Orgenesis are developing a COVID vaccine using Hemo's mice.

COVID test:
Study in progress to produce test to predict potential severity of patients COVID symptoms, identifying mild, moderate and sever sufferes. If successful test will enable Dr's to provide the most appropriate treatment to those most in danger.

Collaborations with Cornell, Rockefeller and Oxford Universities, Johnson & Johnson, LakePharma, Orgenesis and Eli Lilly.

Use antibody and CAR-T cell therapies.

Revenue generating Eli Lilly deal anticipated to be signed before open on 1st Sep for CDX antibody for eliminating ALL leukaemia without need for chemotherapy.

In July Eli Lilly agreed separate deal for Lupus & to use humanised mice to generate antibodies for unspecified conditions. Agreement allowed Hemo to unveil them as GlobalCo who've been developing CDX since May 2018.

JHFU I've been pondering if Hu-PHEC could have been superseded by CDX. Originally CDX was to be used in first step to condition immune system to receive Hu-PHEC donation and with the end game of cancer free stem cells being extracted from patents liver and used to fight their own cancer.

As CDX has been shown to not only condition blood for treatment, but also naturalise the Leukemia I wonder if it's one upped Hu-PHEC. Hu-PHEC does seem to have other unannounced applications. A risk less scenario

Cooling off period is normally 10 days, unless someone launches a grounded legal challenge. I'd say unlikely given the circumstances

I assume one issue with lowering the CT is that those with dead viruses won't be picked up at end of recovery. However the revised test would also be missing those in 2>4 of infection who by day 5 will reach highest level of infection.

Any thoughts on this? Seems we would be increasing risk of spreading disease for the benefit of reducing quareteen

Lower CT will speed up test, in the few percentage range mind

Debtfreemansoon from experience once the final product is approved further approvals will not be required for additional manufacturing sites. Will be down to company internal QA to ensure production standards

Original contract had extension clause, so there was scope, but won't be unlimited. In gov tenders you can usually make a contract change up to +10% of contract value.
Contracts in key critical infrastructure can also be extended outside of this 10% rule. I've done this once and it was a nightmare. Less hoops to jump in the case of COVID mind.

PL75 you know the CT cycle can be reduced to idendify a lower load. From your last RNS your test is only picking up the most infected patients in clinical setting. We know those who suffer the worst, require early idendification, a delay of one or two days waiting for the validating PCR could be life and death for over 70'so

AS is now targeting market for mass screening, with these tests needed to be validated using the actual gold standard PCR test. So a 10 min LFT requires a follow up PCR which could take 2 to 3 days adding in logistics of sending LFT results in and either PCR saliva tube in post or arranging a center. Tests with low sensitivity that idendify low loads have been ruled out of airline, sporting and cultural events. I do hope in 4 months or so you'll have a final product that has passed community functionality trails. First stage trail of 1st pilot batches using clinical data will be a big win right now. PS its probably best that CS stays on this BB, will work out better for this board in the short term.

I'll admit I'm not a fan of Vlads social media or some of presenting skills and prior to Marc joining it was my main concern.
I've met Vlad in person and he came accross really well, dedicated, integrity and a proper scientist.
I do feel the team would benefit from experienced business development manager, so more of Vlads time can be freed up for the science. But they run a lean ship right now so Vlads doing it all.
To have the knowledge that you can save
thousands of lives must be incredibly motivator.

There was a big Randox social care hole which I'll now assume Novacyt and others weren't able to fill. Now we see their is a PHE hospital shortage which is Primerdesigns core stomping ground.
As long as there are no supply chain breakdowns or logistics issues would seem likely Nova are running at full capacity

Karen looks like the Rapid Test Consortium (UK-RTC) have left the antibody door open for Nova.
The test was manufactured by Abingdon Health who skewed their results, presenting as 99.40% accurate but actually missed 28% of results.

They did this by selecting a **** poor antibody test to compare their results again and only tested against those with symptoms or prior Postive test. Grade 7 levels of science methodology.

I'll be taking Sir John Bell's words with a pinch of salt from now on. He was involved in creating the consortium and described the test as “truly amazing”, if cheating is amazing fair
