George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Spindler, you can now as I just did
Very pleasing for the whale.
>>Can anyone see a pull back? I'm keen to buy in but finding it very difficult with these rises.
Well I thought we would see a short term spike with this but we are on the 3rd day of rises - the IC effect is strong and the story compelling. And if Zak Mir says 60p (as someone stated earlier) the crowd will likely follow that one too making it self-fulfilling (but charting is another debate). I suppose if the poo drops back there will be an impact but that is not looking likely short term. So if you want to take the advice of a self-confessed idiot then don't wait! I'm biased as I am a holder.
Thought you were referring to Man City, ha ha ...
I'm really not invested in AZ for the vaccine but primarily the oncology pipeline. This in itself imo more than justifies the sp.
Cj. The downs and and downs of sle have over the years been enough to drive anyone insane so perhaps there is an element of catharsis here. I have carefully used the past tense here before heckles rise.
mclean quite possibly, in fact any reason you like, but to not inform the market is wrong.
Nobody is going to change my mind about this so to save alaric from going purple and searching his thesaurus further I will desist.
alaric thank you for the kind words much appreciated.
Yes yes that could happen which is why I split my cash. Long-term £72 will seem cheap. Sub £70 cheaper still.
Show-stopping? For SLE? No of course not prospects are clearly good, never said otherwise.
Per JODO updating the market would have been a reasonable way to proceed.
Please explain how I should interpret an RNS linked to any company that says someone has bought some shares?
QF
Yep I see these prices as bargain basement so I have topped up using half the cash I had lined up for this. Will spend the other half next week especially if it falls further (and there are no bombshells of course, very unlikely)
br. Putting SLE to one side as they are irrelevant to my point. If I read an RNS which says something has happened then that's what I expect. What should I think next time I see a Director buy from any company? Wait an indefinite period to find out whether it actually took place or not? You can tell me the system allows for this but it remains wrong.
OF has lost out ... too right and no sympathy. Why state you have bought something when you don't have the money? Then by omission let the market believe you did for 7 months.
"to"
No morality lesson intended. If I read an RNS which says something has happened then that's what I expect. What should I think next time I see a Director buy from any company? Wait an indefinite period to find out whether it actually took place or not?
Yourself and br can write tomes it changes nothing. And I won't be quiet just because you tell me too. If you both weren't so up yourselves there would have been only the one-liner.
UPBIG the plain fact is OF told the market he had bought roughly $20 million of shares and he did not (doesn't matter what the reason is) and did not tell the market for 7 months. If you and others think that is the right way to carry on then fine it is you who live another world.
Regarding the 21p if you show me where it says otherwise I take it back (assuming what is written is true anyway). Doesn't matter whether you or I think it should more.
TE, doesn't make it right.
How is it it obvious where does it say that? The deal hasn't fallen through I thought.
Anyway let's leave it until I have got an opinion from elsewhere.
And OF can effectively sit on the deal as it remains live and wait until sp is very much higher and then buy for 21p (I think it was) with an immediate very low risk profit. It is wrong.
