It's certainly not left wing, but the body attached to NASA that collects data from all around the world on the atmosphere.

No one who has the education you have had, could say NOAA is left wing or political.

It deals in raw data and the technical analysis of that data, and then makes conclusions.

Sometimes different conclusions with the same datasets.

But that's science, as the conclusions are tested and have to stand up to scrutiny.

Net zero is only stage one, we have to achieve net zero, before we start to tackle climate change.

Net zero only stops us increasing CO2 levels.

We then will need to reduce them as they will be higher than today.

Depending on where the CO2 positions itself in the atmosphere, it will take 300-1,000 year's to reduce it.

I see green technology as creating jobs and all the spin offs that come from that.

I believe we are undergoing the biggest change in employment history and AI will redefine work.

We will change as societies.

The poorer countries are really going to suffer.

As they will be the first to feel the effects of climate change.

We will have whole populations on the move, so the migrant crisis we have today will pale into significance.

We cannot stop this, but if we accelerate green technologies then maybe we can mitigate it.

Others book time on it.

Oxford has one.

I believe Cambridge has one but not from the company I worked for.

The met office has a number of systems, and these guys really know their stuff.

But it's the CO2 element we measure and from this along we other measurements we build scarily accurate models today and they are still improving.

Climate change disrupts the climate and can lead to global warming, crop failure and make parts of the world uninhabitable.

Plus we are poisoning the ocean's and the planet.

Slug how do you explain that CO2 for the last 800,000 years was around 150-250 parts per million.

Then around 1750 when the industrial revolution started it started rising every year and now is over 400 parts per million.

That is the man made element.

It's undeniable.

The man made part is measurable and accounts for over 50% of CO2 measured from the year 1750.

They are still in place but greatly reduced.

I dare say heat pump subsidies will end one day.

But today its electric generation which is green that is top loaded.

So the position is changing.

So absolutely market forces are employed to reduce carbon emissions.

More taxes will go on ICE vehicles.

I currently have a diesel but am looking at an EV once I get one that is as large as my Citroen and has a real 600 mile range, which the batteries coming out in 2026 should be able to provide.
