However a common component of both technologies is Copper, so I am personally staying with Copper for the moment.
I know BP are going green, and I believe that they will diversify into Electricity generation, and the production of hydrogen.
On a personnel note, I believe we will see hydrogen processing plants in airports around the world, as commercial aircraft are to be powered by hydrogen. Airbus has set 2035 for the release date of it's first commercial airliner powered by hydrogen.

Hi Patrm you are correct as technology stands today, Cobalt is the main ingredient of a Lithium battery, but that is about to change big time, as Nickel is going to be coming into the equation in the next generation of Longer life, high Amp hour storage.

Anyone has been able to bid for Solgold for years, but nothing has happened so far.
We still have an incredibly diverse book, and no consolidation has happened.
No interest in CGP even.
We may get a bid one day, But I really don't think it will be at the PFS stage, as this is too big a risk financially for any bidder.

As always Copperpot, you are the voice of reason. Let's say we get a statement or tweet from Solgold saying we are taking this to production, would everyone jump on it and say we are definitely going to production.
WAIT A MINUTE, we have had so many statements, tweets and webinars saying we are taking this to production, and we get one tweet, that just reports a story, and doesn't even say we are expecting a bid, and everyone jumps on it as evidence.
Come on everyone, we all want a prosperous outcome, but this is confirmation bias at it's worst.

Hi Jerry, there is nothing to explain.
Solgold have reported a story, please point out any deal that Solgold have said is going to happen.
I think it's interesting, but I also think that because we are going to get a good PFS, we are getting the same stories, as when we got a good PEA.
I calculated that we get a NPV at 7 billion dollars on the PFS, I calculated that using 1500 dollars an ounce, looks like Solgold are going to use 1700 dollars an ounce, so yes more speculation.
But although I tire of saying it, I have never said we won't get a deal, it just won't be some of the ridiculous figures bandied about like under 1 pound a share.
However at the moment on the balance of probability, I still see us taking this to production.

Zoros, we require more infrastructure whatever we do, you can increase Kilowatts, through increasing the national grid voltage, and by keeping the current the same, this allows for greater transmission of power. We have already done that over the years. Yes more infrastructure required, but think also of micro generation. Where off grid provide their own power. I personally am already looking into this. Without the restrictions of a photovoltaic 4 kva system, as FITS payments ended last year for new installations. Just looking at the next generation of materials to deliver a low cost system, that can meet my power requirements, and charge an electric car for free.

Morning Zoros, existing petrol and diesel cars, will be worthless in two years time. Imagine buying a second hand petrol or diesel car in 2022. Yes you will still be able to drive them after 2030, but you can see the government hiking fuel taxes, as the drop off in tax, will need to be addressed in various ways. I believe for heavy goods vehicles, we are going to move to hydrogen, also commercial aircraft will move to hydrogen.

Agreed Iceberg. With the climate change conference being imminent. The only countries meeting the Paris agreement up to now are in Africa, Morroco and Ghana leading the way. Expect a binding resolution from the 196 countries involved to move faster to clean energy, just to put us back on track for the 2050 target of no more than 1.5 degrees of warming. On our current trajectory, we are going to exceed 3.0 degrees of warming. That would be disastrous. So I expect a push to increase electrification of the world.

Good morning all, with government announcing yesterday, the end of petrol and diesel cars, by 2030, and hybrids end in 2035. Ask yourself, would you be switching to electric faster if you were a car manufacturer. The answer is surely yes. Because the UK is a huge market for cars, and as Europe struggles more with meeting CO2 emissions than the UK, I expect the EU to follow.
