We are not an exploration company.
Since 2015 we have been a exploration and production company.

This is very soon going to become an engineering project.
Some on here think it's to risky to build this alone, and often quote what has happened to other block cave operations around the world that has gone wrong.

I would like to point out that every time a civil engineering project is undertaken, then they look at Technical bulletins and updates, and include them in the next build.
This is because engineering is a process of constant improvement, and if done properly methods will be employed in order to overcome the problems of previous builds.
Therefore when we come to build Alpala this will be done by the same companies that NCM, BHP and others use.

I believe the one piece of news that will finally move this share price, will be when we have a clear and coherent plan of how to build and take this to production, when we have a costed plan and finance arranged and when we finally start construction.

BBG I know you don't know what you are talking about .
It works like this .
Manipulation can always be detected we have tools available to PI's and more sophisticated algo's used by trading houses.
I have never seen any CFD trade on Solgold, and I was looking at this share in 2012 and invested in 2013.

Only an idiot would make such a claim without evidence, which if you knew what you were talking about could easily gather and hand over to the proper authorites.

Please publish your findings, because I can't find any evidence.

Nobody is manipulating the Solgold share price.
We are talking volumes of a few million a day.
No one needs to manipulate the share share, even if we 15 million shares a day, that would only represent 0.75% of shares in issue.
We don't have a CFD market for Solgold as far as I know.
But if anyone knows different please publish the evidence.

You are correct miketrix, the problem is anything below 0.5% copper is considered low grade.
0.5% - 1.0% average grade and over 1% is high grade.
Many on here forget that.
However this cannot be taken in isolation as so many other factors in play.

So the MRE will give us an indication of early stage NPV probably use 10% of the figure quoted.

But still the big news is Alpala PFS and it all takes time.

Morning Mike, we have to be careful on grades. As these are copper equivalents not copper content as outlined in Alpala PEA. But still good, as we get an idea of the concentrate price.

Hi Novice we have had institutional buying when we have issued new shares.
We have not got institutional buyers buying 500 or 2 shares at a time, they wouldn't even bother buying 50,000
My point is this is what we are seeing and the daft people on here think that is proof of institutional buying.
It's really not.

ColonelDrake let me address your points one by one using facts and evidence.

1=) Nobody knows how drill results will be taken, as we also look at our burn rate and getting Alpala to production.

2=) Brokers were talking about imminent bids for Solgold since 2012.
If you have to quote what brokers think, then you don't understand this share.

3=) Agreed on the JV's but not on our reserved sites.

Lastly while do you expect a bid, if I remember right you expected a bid after the BHP standstill ended and before the end of 2020.
You haven't explained why you were wrong on that occasion, and I believe if you can understand why you were wrong then, that may help you understand why you are wrong to expect a bid after the PFS.

Good post ssmith_trader, I see no evidence of institutional buying. Agreed.
We would see volume, it's always the case.
For people who believe institutional buying is happening, I have a question for you.
What makes you think this ?
Your also correct on how this react depending on how good or bad the PFS is. We need the PFS but we also need to make progress on all fronts, to support the gains made on the PFS, or trading will establish a new floor, and we will be back to the current situation, but hopefully we a new higher floor.

I found the end of the presentation interesting when someone stated they didn't know much about Solgold and asked what the NPV was and the capex.
These are meant to be the experts.
I really don't think we have a high profile, and would certainly explain why daily trading volumes are so low.

Morning rcgl2, Nick Mathers last day as CEO was 31st March 2021.
I think Solgold knows who the new CEO is, and they are already bringing him onboard.
The reason I think this, is our new CEO is going to be the person that brings Alpala to production, so it means he will be here for some years, and this is what is taking the time as his contract is negotiated.

Completely agree addicknt, that is why I have said we at the moment can only value this on the PEA using the lower gold and copper prices, so hoping the PFS improves this part, but for me is the construction costs and timeframe, and just as importantly looking at the timescales to first revenue to start offsetting the debt.

Agreed ssmithtrader, we don't know the fundamentals of the PFS. But we do have expectations, and it's that element that I believe is priced in. Hence we are closer to 30p rather than 20p.
