Luke, have probably done over 1,000 posts on this subject.
Firstly we have a diverse book.
No one owns even 30% of Solgold.
To table a bid with a chance of success, they would have to talk to the other main shareholders and see what they would want for their stakes.
That would be so expensive.
Next we could talk about a hostile bid.
All that takes is for the main shareholders to say we are not selling this cheap.
That would also be so expensive.
Next what company is going to throw over a billion dollars at us in a bid.
What physical infrastructure would they be purchased.
No we need to start construction before we stand a chance of a reasonable bid.
Nobody overpays in this game.
So the only question you are required to answer at this stage is this.
Can Solgold construct Cascabel itself or within a JV.
If the answer is yes, then the investment is a good un.
If no, then this is going to carry on for years, waiting for us to run out of money so someone can acquire us cheaply.
