The USA is such a big exporter, that the amount of carbon credits it will need to purchase unless it cuts it's emissions will bankrupt America.

It needs EV's not only to export, but for the internal market, otherwise they will put their export costs up massively, buying carbon credits for exports.

The car companies are going to have to build EV's either that or their export market will be non existent.
