RE: Sales2 Oct 2025 08:54
It really was - a fantastic event and I think it’s great that they’re putting on events like this for stakeholders, the investor engagement here is top notch.
There were about 10-15 investors in attendance, plus the whole TVL Payroll and representatives from Gardner and Theobald, SC Insights, and Battery Britain. Really impressed with everyone working on the project, they all show a very genuine excitement and enthusiasm for it because they know as we do it’s the right project in the right place at the right time. The recording of the presentation will get posted online some time next week so I won’t go through that because you’ll be able to watch it for yourselves, but I did manage a chat with Paul and Jose (from SC) afterwards (sadly had to run away to drive home before I got a chance to chat to Vikki but I saw others grilling her!). The sodium battery chat from here recently is a non-starter in both their opinions. Car makers think in 5-7 year segments of time, well in advance - and sodium is both heavier and less energy dense - and there’s no existing supply chain or anything for it so while there is a role for it to play in energy storage, everyone is highly confident that we’re approaching the start of another lithium price cycle and lithium will remain king of batteries for the foreseeable.
FEED study still very much on track for completion in Q1 2026, Ara and ABG being kept in the loop and both very enthusiastic. Paul is very keen to point out that the asset level financing method works as demonstrated in Pensana. Overall I came away extremely happy, confident with the management team, and will be looking to add more shares between now and the end of the year.
