I think ultimately what PA was referring to is that typically, when a stock rises several hundred percent, as was always expected with Pensana and is still expected from this stage as the mine gets closer to and subsequently begins producing, is that some of us early stage, risk taking investors will end up selling down. We will have made our money from the point where institutions couldn't or wouldn't stomach the risk of investing in a junior that didn't yet have financing, and then institutions will swoop in and pick up those shares that are sold as they are a much less risky, more solid investment for a fund at that point - delivering steady returns and dividends. It's not about trying to force retail holders out, but some of them will naturally disperse when they have made their gains.
Additionally, as the company's market cap increases and we're now past the £300m point, there's going to be index funds that have to start buying. I suspect at some point it would make sense for MSCI to include us on their Micro or Small Cap Indexes - they next update in November. There's also the FTSE 350, the lowest market cap on there currently is £340m. If we can get above that and stay there, we'll be on that index before you know it too. That will push the price up further and accelerate the process.
Some retail will continue to hold and I intend to be one of them but it's a natural progression that a chunk of retail will ultimately be replaced by institutions.
