An RNS could drop anytime of day now. Once Big Jim signs on the dotted line an RNS could be released immediately. I would hope that 'very, very soon' means in the next week or so.

Hopefully gold over $2200 soon to add impetus and Big Jim gets this over the line 'very, very soon'. Hopefully this month.

Well, after trying all morning to top up another 30k shares I finally managed to do it in three 10k tranches and have moved the sp up for you! Shares hard to come by in any number

Nero, I agree that he wasn't helped by the gold price/sector but some of his decisions have been dire. The first failed attempted sale was a joke that crashed the sp. The decision to relocate the village and then back tracking. Buying a mill for no good reason. Doing no drilling for years because it had no value supposedly but then deciding to sell the assets when we could easily have had another million oz proven up by now which would have made those assets much more valuable. Muddled thinking IMO. Nice guy but his performance has been poor. Luckily for him his mate is Big Jim otherwise we really would be up sh** creek without a paddle. Fingers crossed we get out of this mess in one piece!

We should be in for a big week with Jim Mellon stating that 'we are very, very close' to a deal and with gold at near record highs. I am very much looking forward to seeing an end to the proper process. Fingers crossed.

Agreed, after today's RNS and now that interest rates have probably peaked the NAV discount looks well over done. I topped up with £40k earlier on today as the 9% divi is better than keeping the money in the bank. GLA

Looking pretty solid and hopefully interest rates will come down slowly now which will support property values. Looks a decent bet and with excellent dividend returns (over 9%) paid pro rata quarterly this an attractive investment.

with gold at $2166 i am surprised we are not already at 12p. if db can avoid any more **** ups this should rerate to 20p+ in the coming weeks. fingers crossed!!
