Hoping for at least 45p if this is sold but the proper process has been going on so long that I don't have much faith. That said, I was quite encouraged by the news that two companies are in advanced talks with CNR. Fingers crossed we both get out in profit.

If Onion can produce a firm bid in January we should be off to the races. Confident it will be a Chinese bidder. I feel for poor old JT selling out most of his holding at 15p after 13 years. I'm grimly holding on to mine and hoping for the best but don't have much faith. GLA

If that recent KOU gold pour was any good he would have referenced it in the RNS and during that interview.

DB looked well shifty in that proactive interview! Wasn't there a recent gold pour at Kou mentioned as being about to happen in that interview with ZaK? I suspect that has now happened and all it contained was another melted spoon - hence the sudden need for more money. Do this bunch of clowns actually know where the gold (if it actually exists) is?!

Dugbe should be kept firmly on the back burner until the current debt is repaid. The whole Dugbe BS in today's RNS is just a way of obscuring the reality that the money is needed because KOU is underperforming badly. When I saw that picture of first gold pour and saw Betts holding what looked like a melted spoon and contrasted that to Yan's first gold pour pictures (some solid bars) I thought WTF! They are clearly struggling to hit an ore body of substance thus far.

Just when interest rates look to have peaked and gold is set for a nice rise as a consequence old Danny Boy panics and hedges some of our production - GENIUS!

Bonker, THE most important part to consider before investing is the quality of the management rather that the business/asset. Unfortunately like you I have neglected to assess that properly and liked to think Betts would improve with experience. He is a dud - pure and simple. He should think about stepping down and letting someone more able to take the reins.

Absolutely appalling that Betts has dropped this RNS so soon after telling Zak that all was going brilliantly and that HUM was so undervalued. I won't say that he was lying but if he wasn't he clearly has no idea what is going on. His ability to underdeliver and screw everything up beggars belief!
