@Siggins his best work imho was getting the plant and at that price. Without that would be nowhere near production if had to build our own from scratch. So huge kudos for that and his contacts in the industry. Just wish had a bit more info on how it is actually performing. Rates, time offline for various maintenance, safety upgrades which all plants have etc.

So perhaps folk can see where the time goes, nothing amiss as far as can see, normal step by step, just not as quick as some think, or want, can't rush and mess up.

But all things being equal got to be within next week imho. Any day could drop. They were never going to give any stage by stage results. This is to big and pivotal.

Saloon65 mate think it was more others putting those sort of timescales on it. I never thought that. As been said the flow rates and pressures have to be checked over couple weeks at least. The bigger the reservoir seems the more testing needed, which is good of course. Plus before that doing 2 different layers, each takes time.

They perforated and used acidization, the porosity before that was within acceptable ranges. They have given it every chance to flow. They have been steady and methodical. The have given updates when they didn't have to. I am in Pulsar for example and don't even know if actually started their EWT properly yet let alone where they are at after quite some time!

Only natural to feel nervous as time grows closer. For me if you are committed, you are committed and bring it on! IF, Big IF, it went wrong I would just suck it up, accept that's how it goes sometimes and reassess. But I don't expect to be doing that.

However, it is just bobbing around in this range and up a bit, down a bit, on very low volume is not going to matter one iota when the RNS lands so don't sweat daily tiny fluctuations. Just keep all crossed the news is what we hope and expect and this all be long forgotten

Could you explain your reasoning on that? The main priority, as keep saying, of re entering Inez was to collect core samples from the Ultramafic for Lab analysis and gain a lot more information on Hydrogen. You know the sort of stuff which is exactly what Chimeara are looking for and one of the reasons we were selected.

Well if we can't get those samples and analysis it will be Chimaera holding off as for foreseeable future we have nothing more to give.

Whichever way you look at things fact is we are not being told the whole story, and certainly not when things happen. That is fact. Eg The Drive as well. Whether this is to protect the SP, which it shouldn't be, and not doing a lot for it anyway, or whether you argue what is notifiable by RNS and what is not, just give us the whole story eh Bo?

ps guess you still in here then coz we know when you out lol oh and read about drilling ultramafic rocks and the great likelihood the string snapped on starting there and that's why can still perforate the gas layers.

@Kaeren again not quite true, as said several times if they could have retrieved that string they would have done right at the beginning and got on with it. Bo fessed up to it many weeks later and THEN said concentrating on offtake sales and re enter afterwards.

I always said don't understand why couldn't do both at same time? What has a drilling team got to do with off take talks that taking months? Especially as they raised funds to do just that.

I suspect as said, they had plenty enough Helium for time being as Plant can only produce so much slowly ramping up to full optimisation, so Inez Helium not needed at the time. Secondly they probably had to contract a rig and weren't too fussed about time scale and lastly sone serious planning and knocking of heads about how they going to achieve retrieving the broken string. It looks like a once more effort now as they have not mentioned a side track. If it had broken off further up in gas producing zones and couldn't retrieve you would have likely had to do that or abandon.

Luckily it does seem likely to be broken at/near drilling into ultramafic rocks because if had of being further up.......... So non retrieval looks like it is ok for perforation, maybe acidization, any success imho.

But there is still risk involved in trying to retrieve it.

Kaeren not quite true as I just explained. If that was the case they would have gone straight to perforating Inez, flow testing and getting it hooked up. Which would have been online by now if they had have. They chose to re enter to core and try to retrieve samples for hydrogen analysis. That was the priority.

I would think Bo will be very disappointed if we cannot achieve the main objective of re entering Inez. The fact that it will have taken a few more months to get more Helium out of Inez is neither here or there as the plant can only produce so much as it creeps up to full optimisation.

#the only way going to get that info now and proceed the Hydrogen aspect is to drill another Well. IF, they can't retrieve the broken string and IF the can they then "consider" it worth the risk to drill into those rocks again. The reason they are only going to consider it is because IF the same thing happen they could screw the hole Well and that would be a disaster. High stakes decisions.........

BoldRuncie agree cash is very important..........but Bo built up this Hydrogen thing after those results some time ago. We were all very excited, so was the SP! Re entering Inez to collect core samples was the objective of Inez ...........otherwise could have gone straight to perforation and the cash! So it was more important.

Yes, Hydrogen if there, will always been there. It wasn't as if we were going to start extracting and selling it, a million miles from that. But the core samples info will be like gold dust to us, and the fund. so if can't get to them dress it up any way you want but will be a big disappointment.

IF we can retrieve string, IF they then decide to drill further, IF the core samples come back as all hope for.................then any takeover of the company would be a lot, lot more attractive to suitors and a lot more cash for us. There is no way we will ever get to stage of Hydrogen extraction but others will.

Sure Bo's medium range plan is to sell the company and Hydrogen makes that much more juicier bait to a big boy.

I truly hope they can retrieve the broken parts but not hopeful given all this time and how RNS is worded.

@Tanfinch you could do worst than try QHE a US helium play. EWT been going on for weeks and results are very soon. Of course it is a binary risk and dyor but if does as expected by many you be on way to recovering some/all.

Sorry not meant as cross ramp but as someone asked. I have taken a look at companies in the past been recommended and some paid off. But please, not financial advice, read their RNS and research before taking decisions all imho and good luck to all here

Really sorry for all you holders, especially the long term ones who were still hoping to recover losses. This is the culmination of what Parsons started all those years ago............sheet show underestimates the damage done to genuine folk just trying to make a buck.

Hmmm been considering more this statement

So even if successful retrieval will only "consider" coring? Why? At one time it was all about the hydrogen and seems to be drifting away from it a fair bit. Not that it is bad to get more helium online but hydrogen was going to a massive game changer for us.

Seems to me they are more than a bit concerned about drilling into these rocks again, otherwise just another 30/40 ft? why wouldn't you? Get those core samples to the Lab and if as results show why we were going into them in the first place it really would be boom time!

The Chimaera Fund not exactly going to be expanding their interest when we got nothing further to supply them info wise..........and they certainly will not be paying for our drills.

Still some time until the drill bit hits the dirt and some time after that for results. If successful many be quite wealthy.

Gas analysis is straight forward. They would have used a mobile tester on site, hence they cryptic tweet about gas characteristics being consistent with previous. Lab analysis/confirmation would only take 10-14 days depending on lab turnaround times. and pretty sure they are there.

Could even be back. But very much doubt they would release them independently from the flow tests results. There were many tests to go through over 2 layers and to size the reservoir etc.

Takes time. But, you don't spend time and money testing nothing. If not flowing you cut your losses and move on. They are still there.......

Make no doubt we are near the finish line and we all hope, and expect success. If you can't wait another few days, or perhaps next week, don't whine and moan got enough trolls that do that and likely to appear more and more as week goes on. Be excited, I am.

Good about time! Said next RNS would be about this.

This broken string is obviously far from straight forward, they had plenty of time to fish it out originally before giving up until now. Hence the "if successful" and "if unsuccessful" statements. Something you wouldn't normally put in if you were confident.

The broken string is right at the bottom of the Well. Remember they were only drilling and extra 30/40ft to collect core samples. It could be the big problem was, and perhaps one the drillers underestimated, is the hardness of Ultramafic rocks they are notoriously difficult to drill. Their extreme hardness, high abrasiveness, and unpredictable fracture networks make standard drilling very slow and expensive.

I suspect the drill snapped off not long after hitting these rocks and is well and truly jammed in that's why they couldn't retrieve it the first time. Maybe they got a better plan this time, they have had enough time. They have obviously ruled out a side track as likely time consuming and expensive. But if can't retrieve string and drill further down to the core samples it means a whole new well to get to them and Hydrogen goes further on the back burner.

Well won't take more than a few days to know if successful or not is good. Bad is can't get core rock samples puts hydrogen way back down the line. Good in that go straight to perforate, should be successful and more resources and get hooked up to plant.

Then? Is it drill another Well with dual mind of more Helium and get deep enough for hydrogen core samples? Go back to Ingomar?

Market seems to think same, bit hmmmm Touch and go whether they say before AGM if successful. If unsuccessful I hope hold off next RNS until can say perforation successful and flowing at xxxxx might get this SP going up and bit more sharply.............
