RE: Catalysts Aligning for a Major Rerate21 Apr 2025 20:42
Helium One’s Jackson wells are making significant progress, and with all that momentum, we can expect some exciting updates soon (may be tonight when ASX opens). Jackson-31 has already reached a total depth of 1,210 feet, and the results are looking promising. This well encountered 57 feet of high-quality, gas-saturated Upper Lyons Sandstone, with a healthy porosity range of 22-26%. Not only was free gas confirmed during drilling, but it also naturally flowed at TD, which is exactly what you want to see from a well like this. We’re now waiting for the lab results to confirm helium and CO₂ concentrations, and wellhead installation is in the works for pressure readings and flow testing.
Jackson-4 isn’t far behind, having drilled to a depth of 1,260 feet, and it too encountered 62 feet of gas-saturated sands. The results are very similar to Jackson-31, with natural flow observed during drilling, confirming solid reservoir communication. No water was found during drilling, which is another positive sign, and now we’re awaiting the results from lab analyses before getting more data on potential flow rates.
And then there’s Jackson-27, which was spudded just a few days ago on April 16th. The team is already drilling the intermediate section, and once it reaches TD, we’ll have more data on flow and pressure readings, which will be key to understanding the well’s full potential.
What can we expect next…. The big news will likely come from the flow test results, where we’ll get a clearer picture of helium concentrations and production rates. Plus, updates on the drilling progress of Jackson-27 and its eventual tie-in to the Galactica helium production facility will be key to understanding the company’s timeline for getting into revenue generation.
With all this activity, Helium One is in the thick of it, and there’s plenty to look forward to. As these wells continue to progress, the company is getting closer to transitioning from exploration to actual production. So, while the bank holiday might have slowed the news cycle a bit, the real excitement is just around the corner. 🔥🚀
