The RNS is telling us everything we expected. People always expect a news announcement at an AGM....which is NEVER the case in my experience.

this has been a splendid week in capai. as i have said before, agm will give approval for the company to issue more shares. this, in my opinion, will not be the usual **** show discounted placement. big ron (as i call him) mentioned in his interview about democratisation. having a listed entity that can issue shares...... in return for a stake in one of r42 investments (and not in return for cash and a quick share flip) creates this democratisation for all. this is a super interesting and exciting investment and just what the london market needs. the secret sauce is ron working the angle with the exit valuations of his r42 investments and then allowing the market to "create" the real value. the next weeks are going to be very interesting. agm is at 10am - unlikely to be any announcement at the agm but once that resolution is passed and the meeting is closed - that rns could drop at any time.

listening to the interview yesterday a couple of things struck me. ron spoke about "tough tech", which he suggested not many people understand and therefore the valuations are not so full (or exaggerated). probably r42 has a lot of these business, some of which probably are probably at a late phase of development and making money. what better way to recognise or unlock that value than through a listed entity (capai). so my take is (and this is my opinion) capai will identify such targets from their stable of investments, agree a valuation with the owners (which may include r42 or other vc's that have invested) and give them a way of exiting through the issuance of capai shares. this is, if of course i am right genius as any share issaunce will be to acquire an interest in the target company at a very fair valuation.....the market will then revalue investment most likely in favour of capai and us shareholders. so capai will not be a company that is continuously placing at a discount and chasing a dream (like the rest of the **** on the market). and for such a strategy to really work needs as high a market capitaisation (of capai) prior to the first deal as this means capai can acquire bigger targets. if i am right this is a strong buy.

rns reporting xerri has exited...as someone said check his li - he entered at a low price, made money, had a lot of money at stake and moved on. if you reflect a little and look at some of the other **** on the market like syme which is valued at i think around 2 million quid and the lisy goes on.....we are sitting pretty. let the name change go through, let the company deliver on their plans and we will see a re-rating.

Anyone have access to this article or can share what he said? I frankly do not really care about his opinions as simply based on a shell with no business we are undervalued. For a new listing on the main market the costs are 2 to 4 million. But nevertheless curious what Winfrith had to say.

I would also add, if the company planned a placing a share consolidation would be a good idea...... 2.1 Billion of shares in circulation! My hunch is and I dont know anything that an RTO will happen fast......Any reasonable sized placing (several million) would dilute the main shareholders/ all shareholders into oblivion.....unless it is at a Premium.

If it is an RTO then the target company has probably come to the end of its VC journey and is making money and needs an event for the VC to exit....in this case an RTO allows the company to achieve a its full market valuation potetial and provide liquidity for a VC or/and other shareholders to exit, or not, if they they think the market will place a higher value on the company (probably it will).

Go and start googling. We are on for a multi bagger here!

I don't see a placing happening off such a low Market Cap - the company needs the price higher so that dilution is not so painful. Rather we are well set up for an RTO! The current very low price is perfect for this. Fair shell value, Main list, Clean structure , Hopefully Quality incoming business, Deal happens quickly......... and lets be honest why go to all this hassle if you don't have a target company lined up.

Had to laugh about the post from the computer Science graduate from Manchester University, not sure what part of the RNS was covered in your bachelors degree? Anyways DeepSeek would be hilarious. There is no escaping the fact that the market cap is far too low, do a scan of early stage businesses and the valuation they raise on are multiples of where we are now. I can see this quickly 5x from the current price.

I was not surprised by yesterdays fall, but was surprised that the buyers matched the sellers.

Clearly there was a disagreement at the top, could have been Lonnys tweeting or X'ing. I dont think it was a cost saving exercise to be honest ( but I think this was a message). I rather think it was a disagreement on the way to go with this asset. Fully develop it or do some M&A, I think this is where the disagreement stemmed from and I think the sensible route for the company and us shareholders is M&A and bring some financial certainty to the business and remove the need to place to raise funds to go to the next stage. Todays RNS, I think we all expected, perhaps not so soon! I took this RNS as very positive and my feel is the next RNS will come with the M&A action baked in. Fingers crossed and good luck everyone.

I disagree. I think this time its different....Geoff has put his money where is mouth is. Did Strauss ever do that or anyone else. I don't dispute the shenanigans of the past, but there is no point in maintaining a PLC and all the costs unless there is a plan.
