It's becoming clear we could have a massive oval shape deposit with that step out in the NW. We haven't event started the the expansion drilling phase yet. How far NW does this giant go?

What strike dimensions is everyone using? I'm getting a very big number of ounces for gold 8,750,004 with very modest strike values: 500x600x100 for the high grade zone. AISC = 1000.

trigger, just a quick look tells me that PUR drill intercepts are high grade but very narrow, nothing like the skyscraper size intercepts at Havieron. We have economies of scale.

What about the the total liabilities and do you think the gold pooring event might be priced in already?
How about additional assets as a source of potential growth? We have plenty of that at GGP.

schlemiel, how is it possible for it to go t-ts up based on what we have so far? This is irrational at best. If there's a bit of a dip in the SP don't you think PI's and institutional investors will back up the truck?

I think people are forgetting that estimates such as 5.5moz are just the high grade area that will be measured, but there will also be the indicated and probable figures.

The 20moz is not something anyone expects from the MRE, but could be after a number of upgrades over the next few years. We will be able to get a better idea whether that is possible after the MRE and more results.

busterhogdog, instead of just asking on a BB why don't you do more research? You can't just compare in such a simple manner.

What jurisdiction is Altyn operating in?
What is the size of the resource?
What grade is the resource?
What is the total value of their assets?
What are the mine construction costs?
Who bears the construction costs?
How much debt does the company have what is the cost?

You need to answer all these and much more before making a comparison.
Read the company reports.

I think it unlikely that any drilling will start at Scally before the title is transferred back to GGP, and in any case GH would not sign any legal transaction that isn't watertight. Now I think about it, this probably means there will be a bit of a delay. But who cares? The most important thing is to execute a robust strategy for the company - none of this short term thinking. I believe GH knows what he is doing.

Some people are hoping that GGP starts drilling Scally on their own, but why? Makes no sense. Why spend lots of time and money diamond drilling, and perhaps not finding what you are looking for, when NCM can spend their own money through a JV deal?

Academy, It's not that at all. There will always be the smaller and less experienced investors who simple get nervous or not sure what to do, or have invested more than they can afford perhaps - lots of reasons. It's all irrelevant over the longer term.

So that the mining license for Havieron covers Scallywag as well. NCM / GGP don't want to apply for another exploitation license if they want to mine Scallywag in the future, which might not be that long going by current performance.

Yes, I think it make sense to get NCM to give Scally a good peppering, since there's so many targets and NCM have ample capacity. May as well get on with it.
