TMT, don't you think it would be better for GGP to hold cash for actual growth rather than just pumping the SP up? I would rather they use the cash for acquisitions and exploration, not just creating a fake company.

Personally, I don't want GGP to waste money on dividends. I would prefer they spend more on exploration.

It seems GGP has been forgotten about temporarily, but once we get more positive news I am certain the SP will literally explode with the current gold price. I am happy that we will see 20p+ towards the end of the year, easily.

Hardly hindsight analysis schlemeil, just common sense. It will soon bounce back anyway, especially when the next stimulus package gets agreed in the US.

In 6 weeks we should get more insight into the high grade sulphide arms and possibly if there is actually a complete ring of high grade. Now that would be really exciting.

Looks like Havieron as big as Telfer, but much higher grade. Sometimes it seems like a dream.

Hani1, because most of the buying and selling currently is people trading small amounts hoping to get quick profits - they are not interested in the long term growth of company. When the next drill results arrive, it will make a difference.

GH is not going to give Scallywag away, regardless of whether NCM or GGP starts the drilling. In my mind, it make more sense if NCM does all the drilling as they have the resources close by, and GGP can conserve capital.

panama, I really don't think there's anything to be concerned about though. I may be the case that the arrangement to include Scally was partly to deter any hostile takeover attempts on GGP before Newcrest can get around to it. Whatever the outcome, you can be sure that GGP and Newcrest will come to some reasonable deal in the end. They are not the only player aware of the potential.

Robin hood is a popular trading platform and people do lots of tiny trades. It's like playing on a slot machine to them - buy 4 shares @11.9 and sell at 12 and you've just made 0.4 pence.

Robin hood traders unfortunately. It's one of the downsides to commission free trading platforms.
