The judge will decide the outcome of the many claims......not you.
The case continues Tuesday...........wait for the judge to rule on all the items. Until that is done, then there could be problems ahoy.............
Now do you understand.........the judge has said she is likely to deny the Feb and April contests.........as these are out of time.
However.........she is yet to rule on the August and November ones.........which ARE NOT OUT OF TIME !!!!!!!!!
The case continues on Tuesday !!!!!!!!!
Please try to understand.......... two claims are time limited.
February and April.
.................Today, Supreme Court Justice Petra Hanna-Weekes denied the application for leave to bring the application out of time with the respect to the February and April decisions only....................
BUT the case is also contesting the not time limited decisions......... of August and November........these will be heard on Tuesday.
...........The applicants also seek to challenge and have quashed the government’s decision in April to renew the validity of BPC’s licenses to December; the decision in August to renew those licenses to April 2021; and the decision in November to renew or re-extend the validity of the company’s licenses to June 2021........................
The judge is leaning to deny the TWO time limited points raised.............however...........she has not denied any of the not time limited points.
Adjourned and to continue..........Tuesday Bahamanian time.
Lets let the newsreader tell you.
ITS BEEN ADJOURNED UNTIL TUESDAY............... can you understand what is being said ?
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=680632759288641
.
Its the same announcement thats been posted on here many many many times.
It says the same thing.............. Next hearing scheduled on 29th Dec. Judge has initially denied the 2 time limited claims (but not any of the other non time limited claims). Hearing continues.................... Tuesday.
Thats from the 24th Dec and been posted many many times already. So no...its not new.
rossannan, I believe some of the complaints under consideration for Tuesday are things like :
Do BPC/Stenna have the correct work permits in place ?
Do BPC have the correct water disposal permits/sewerage in place ?
Things like that........I believe there is a long list of things under consideration. So far the judge has only leaned towards denying the two time limited ones.........the others are all not time limited AFAIK.
More will be known next week.
It says, by BPC, that ......... a further hearing........... which means its not over. Do you not understand, the denial is only in respect to 2 items........there are many other items. Wait for Tuesday and see the next court ruling.
................and that there will be a further hearing on that date. The precise nature of the further hearing
will be notified to the parties and BPC on 26 December 2020...............
Which means of course.......its not over.
Edgar.
..........and that there will be a further hearing on that date. The precise nature of the further hearing
will be notified to the parties and BPC on 26 December 2020...............
Two parts (of many parts) the judge said she would deny, however it was pointed out under Supreme Court law that she cannot deny without a hearing. She is taking this under consideration.
So she looks like she will deny two parts only........ a decision on which other parts to hear will be made on Tuesday.
Its clear in this article below. The judge on Tuesday will make clear what will be heard........eg.........of all the parts, including the two parts she has said she is likely to deny.

..........Today, Supreme Court Justice Petra Hanna-Weekes denied the application for leave to bring the application out of time with the respect to the February and April decisions only.
Attorney Fred Smith, QC, who represents the applicants argued that while the judge had the jurisdiction to approve the application on paper, she did not have the jurisdiction to deny those applications on paper without a hearing.
To this, the judge said she would take the submissions under consideration.
The application concerning the February and April approvals, which were denied, make up only a part of the overall application for judicial review of numerous other approvals concerning BPC.
The judge is expected to provide an update on what will be heard.
The matter will resume next week Tuesday..............
We know its #PANR as their Talitha Ops document says Ice Road to commence from MP386.7

Its anything but over.........there are many parts, the judge said she was likely to deny 2 of them.......but was taking under consideration. This related only to a small part. And after updates on Saturday the case resumes on Tuesday next week.
I can certainly read this and understand what it says........

Some details.
Coho 10 mmscf/day production by end of February 2021.
On current discoveries Paul is looking for 100 mmscf/day and 2000 barrels of condensate per day production by end of 2021. (Casca/CascaDeep/Chinook).
If Royston successful then adds another 100 mmscf/day to that (plus any condensate if wet).
Loads of upside to come in terms of more gas to add to the 1 TCF figure - with more exploratory drilling.
5 to 10 year drilling program ahead...one which will be self financing......
Nice interview.
