Just a point of interest - the company was very careful to say that the MOU was with PC's Mongolian affiliate, not with PC directly. From a semantic point of view, this would allow Buck to state honestly that they are not negotiating a farm-out with Petrochina. Moreover, this also explains how Buck can honestly express his gratitude to the neighbouring entity for all their help and support whilst also sharing his anger and frustration with how Petrochina has behaved over the withholding and payments issues.

And a MOU is often a precursor document to full JV.

The best answer to the stockbashing zombies is to reiterate the investment case rather than engaging with them. So..

The 850k plus will come at some point, as will 100% payments. We have millions of barrels of reserves with many more to be added, a 50% renewables JV with a company led by a key regional player in the sector, we are income-generating with enough coming in to cover costs and a bit on top with the company streamlining all the time, we have H2 results being analysed, we have Gobi drilling oven-ready, we have one proposal for farm-in with due dilgence underway with others loitering in the wings, we have a MOU in place with our near-neighbours who are part of a massive production entity, we have technical work underway on the massive block VII with feelers already put out to potential partners and neighbours, and the Mongolians are relying on us. And we have NO DEBT. NONE.

And Brent has gone up nearly ten percent in a week.

These are all FACTS.

Whoever it is, the Mongolians can't afford to be picky or obstructive; they have a pipeline and refinery to fill within the next couple of years or less, and they need to find thousands of barrels of daily production pronto.

Anyway, looking good here. Very much intrigued by the company comms Gadgie shared here yesterday. That MOU clearly signified something and company says it is 'excited' by it. Just speculating, but we were told a winter due diligence visit was unusual, I guess given the travel difficulties at this time of year. The one entity who would have no problem getting to the Block 20 sites would be the neighbours just up the road. Now we suddenly have an MOU with the same entity signalling closer cooperation across the blocks. Maybe I'm making five from two plus two, but everything seems to be pointing in one direction for the proposed farm-out. Anyway, GLA genuine investors.

What discussions? The farm-out ones that we know are underway? The plot thickens.

Buck has so little credibility that he's been taken on as a NED in a different company to give advice, input. P3rhaps you should write to Seascape Master, and let them know they've got a duff one. They probably haven't realised and would really welcome your sage advice.

Yeah, bid has dropped today pretty much what it gained yesterday but according to the stockbashers the market is voting with its feet, Buck is signalling that 2026 is a write-off, the MOU with Petrochina was actually meaningless and we should all give upon Matd. Apparently they claim that they're the objective ones. You have to laugh at how desperate they are to spread their FUD.

Great post Frontera. It seems despite what the stockbashing zombies would have us believe, our Mr Buck is so well though of in the industry that other growing companies will pay for his advice.

A few days per year advisory work, probably via Zoom really isn't Buck's way of telling us not to expect material newsroom ffs. Feck me, any news at all and the loons come out to play in their hordes.

Certainly worth reading through Seascape's RNS's and results. Buck has clearly been taken on in an advisory role.

Morning all. I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend- maybe not the stockbashing zombies, loads of weekend greenboxes so seems they got triggered by the MOU tweet. Lovely to see them waste their weekend completely as the sp has ticked up first thing - currently 1.2165p on the bid. I wonder if the zombies are starting to panic, seems so given the intensity of attempted deramping activity over the weekend.
