Brent heading for $72. Surprise, surprise, Ukraine resisting Trump's pressurising to give Russia what they want and therealpolitik of the Iran situation is that Israel has Trump's ear and they are telling him they want to bomb the mullahs out of power. Hence oil markets are jittery.

Totally agree Frontera. The risk:reward ratio is probably the best it has ever been right now. Nothing is a certainty, this AIM after all, but as small-cap oilers go, this is looking pretty good now. Imagine holding through Covid, the permit epic, and deciding to sell now.

Strange time to sell but each to their own. I've been around Matd for about ten years now and I think the company in its strongest position ever. Moreover, many farm-outs are undertaken before any production is realised, as we are trying over in Block VII. We have two wells, with stabilised flow at the upper end for the basin with income covering all our costs so no pressure to take any deal. The company says the counterparty is very aware of how 'lucrative' Block XX can be. The refinery is getting closer every day and we have just received a nice lump of a million bucks.

Like I said, just about the strangest time to sell if you're a LTH and held through Covid, the permit ferrago, shenanigans with the Chinese etc.

Anyway, thanks for selling as it means there's plenty of shares to pick up cheaply.

So what? 2p puts me 50k up with all of Block 20 to be developed with every drop of oil profit for us, the latent value of Sunsteppe to be realised, Block VII farm-out to come, the pipeline and refinery coming onstream pretty much for us. Where will this be in 3 years? A lot higher than 2p I'll wager. I'm still accumulating bud.

Yep, I've now binned Master. Benefit of the doubt for a long time, but clearly a stockbasher trying to disrupt the board on what was a positive day for genuine shareholders. Tbh I should have done it when he refused to believe that the email from the company I shared was authentic and tried very hard to discredit it. Spot on Investor. So many conveniently forget those lost years to Covid, the rogue Governor and the infamous permit. Literally nothing Buck could do about any of it. The man deserves huge credit for keeping the company afloat through those times, and now bringing us to this point from such a low base. And without crippling debt nor an unmanageable share count. Factor in too, doing business in a place like Mongolia and with the Chinese and you have to admire his stickability.

Erm, I have news for you, all sharedealing is a gamble on future events transpiring a certain way. If you want certainty about anything, then this isn't the game for you, especially on AIM of all places. Every time you buy a share you are literally forecasting what might happen. I often see posters complain that because there isn't certainty on an issue then it's a big gamble etc etc. I just find that weird. If you don't foresee things turning out OK then don't buy or hold. What nobody can give you is certainty or guarantees, which is what you seem to want.
