I've been around this stock long enough to remember the infamous video of the local cop ripping down the perimeter fencing around the H1 wellhead as it had been deemed illegal. That was after the announcement of the 820bopd discovery.. to get us from that nadir to now producing oil, JV talks, on the brink of good income WITH NO DEBT, and with the encouragement of the Mongolian authorities, speaks to me of a CEO with tenacity, political nous, and a willingness to stay the course. I believe he can leads us to a Mongolian el dorado.

I too am very happy with Mr Buck's leadership. The decisions announced in the RNS/AGM are right on the money in my view. I'm patient. A classic stockbashers' technique is to spread fud by claiming that so many investors are unhappy with the CEO, have lost faith etc. They will say any old cobblers to create a negative vibe.

All power to you, Mr Buck. Bring it home, son.

Redcorp a bit blocked by the political situation in Portugal atm but good news imo that Cerrado have taken on the project. Yes, the current actual NaAVmust be close to 40p so we're trading at a 50% discount atm. Lovely.

Yes, Hamm. It would be a great fit for both parties and for the Mongolians themselves. It would also create a robust buffer against predatory behaviour from our neighbours in block 19 who must have thoughts about acquiring Matad as their side of the basin starts to decline. The Mongolians need to keep their own product for their refinery in order to meet their own strategic goals. There could well be a bidding war going on for the JV atm, and Buck is probably feeding the flames by touting Heron around to other potential partners, as he suggested at the AGM. A Jv with the refinery people means everyone is happy apart from the Chinese. This might also explain why the company has decided to explore developing its own route to market for our oil. The plot thickens for sure.

The refinery as one of our three suitors would also explain the use of the slight odd word 'entities' to describe them. That would be a very exciting development.

Always makes me chuckle when the stockbashers try to provoke investors by attacking their intellectual abilities whilst they themselves can often barely string a coherent sentence together. Ditto most online trolls generally.

Yeah, of course the company crashed its own share price by resolving the land permit issue after five years of being messed about and then starting oil production for the first time in its history. Of course, now I understand. Bloody Matd, if only they hadn't started producing oil, we'd be OK. The huge gang of stockbashers who turned up was just a coincidence and they do what they do because they just like contributing to bulletin boards. They don't for one moment think their relentless negative posting can have any effect on the SP whilst I the same breath accusing every investor of being a 'ramper', which is essentially saying the exact opposite.

Let's not forget that Sunsteppe's CEO was invited to participate in intergovernmental trips to the Gulf and China, at a time when Gulf countries are looking to invest I renewables in Mongolia. Fact. I'm surprised that people aren't making more of this. Its got me right frothy.

The RNS/AGM were clear about the direction of travel for Matd. Work on the wells and drill sites, including Gobi and Gazellewe already have to consolidate and get a sustsainable, growing income stream then offer Heron as derisked with solid bopd to JV partners and with the cherry of Mongolian support. Support and help Sunsteppe continue its brilliant work networking, attracting more investors on top of the ones we have signed confidentiality agreements with, work to streamline the company to cut costs, keep building relationship with the Chinese, secure the next PSC. All accretive and all achievable with long-term goals in mind.

Fact: the company is in its strongest-ever position and is derisking as an investment all the time. I'm happy to add and hold. Ignore the garbage. This is a 2025 AIM star.
