But the price of gas per therm now is identical to the price of gas per therm in 2018 yet the average household electricity cost has risen from £669 then to £1775 now. The gas price is the same so we can't blame that. So explain what in the name of expensive green BS and unaffordable renewals has caused our electricity prices to rise by 165%?

They need to be scrapped, every last one of them and I believe there are over 1000 costing tens of billions.

I'd also fire every single civil servant and replace them with fixed contracts for the length of parliament, and they'd be hired to carry out the wishes of that government not their own collective ideals.

He has done an absolutely fantastic job and we need someone in the UK to do exactly the same. Get rid of swathes of public sector waste, entire quangos and departments can go, all the DEI hires, all the penpushers. We could easily halve the size of the public sector and then some, which is exactly the crisis we are facing now. We can't afford our spending and we can't raise it any more.
