Agreed, the financials are completely disconnected from the value on the NASDAQ IPO. It makes zero sense at all but that's what happens with hype stocks. Think Game Stop! Once the sheep flock, they flock in ever increasing numbers in some kind of fever. Sort of why Bitcoin is where it is.

I doubt the Acquis share holding 11.8% will rerate accordingly. There's just no awareness here of what it is. Essentially it's shares back instead of cash back on purchases, which of course will eventually end up in exponentially more confetti being printed. The bubble could burst in the US tomorrow leaving anyone here still ínvested Friday morning facing a very sore bottom.

I shall watch the data, if I smell the chance of a quick bag or 50% even in the order of 10-30 mins in the morning I might punt only.

Not on this book weakness, and if it did pop over it won't hold. But sometimes the strength builds quite quickly on this one. Traders need to watch it closely

Possibly shaping up for a go at 20p shortly, the ask has dried up a little but the bid is still weak as of yet

Afternoon L2 pressure was quite impressive on the upside. One can never tell quite as much on these stocks without DMA but I would predict a surge well into the 0.4s tomorrow even on no news. At which point my second trade here will be cashed.

I've also heard from a credible source that CIPA is imminent. We might just be surprised very soon and it will be the catalyst to bust 20 and move on to test 32p

As a trader, I don't personally use limit orders often if at all but one tip I would give you is never to put them on round numbers because that is what everybody else does and when it's a tie on price it's older orders filled first.

By placing your limit at say 0.252 (because those who know this place at 0.251) you will increase your chances of being filled first without costing much from your margin. If it kisses 0.25 then accelerates away North, you could miss out completely.

However on SETSqx, the uncrossing trade can largely be ignored. The market will resume where it left off most likely, it certainly won't have been shifted 40% by a 1 share trade at 0.25p :)

No it's not wrong, it is in fact 100% correct but it is largely irrelevant and the MMs will begin where they begin in the morning, at or near to where they were at close - notwithstanding significant news good or bad of course.

It's basically a guarantee that would give suitors far more confidence to step forward and take it off our hands. A massive de-risk which would add great value to the present share price. Of course it will become more expensive for a suitor at the same time, but they will value the reduced risk more.

Well this is on SETSsq which is for less liquid stocks and the rules of the uncrossing auction are subtly different.

On SETS stocks if the settlement price (the UT trade) is more x% away from the last Automated Trade (AT) then a Price Monitoring extension of five minutes is triggered to resolve the volatility. X differs from stock to stock but can be found in the Parameters data. There can be I believe up to three such PMEs.

Additionally if there is no uncrossing trade at all, then the last AT is declared the closing price - again subject to PME if out of range.

On SETSqx however, if there is no Uncrossing trade, the closing price is declared as the mid point between best bid and ask at the close of the auction. If there is a an uncrossing trade, that is automatically the closing price regardless of how far it was from the last trade.
