Evening RICH3R - it sure is in a mess and it won't get better until the left is smashed.

The absurd argument the left always give for renewables being expensive is that they are "pinned" to the price of gas. Yet America which runs on loads of gas is a quarter the price for industrial and less than half the price for domestic.

If the only thing stopping renewables being cheap as chips is the pinning to the gas price, then why as a sovereign nation do we simply not unpeg it and let it run?

The answer is obvious to anyone who isn't trying to con you. Unless they got "gas money", nobody would ever invest in renewables as there would be no profit in them. And of course the same old problem exists, when it aint sunny or windy you need gas to back it up, which means starting and stopping gas powered stations at enormous cost.

The best thing we can do is chop down the bird choppers and let the freaks have their domestic solar power to run a kettle once a day while the rest of us go back to good old cheap coal, gas and oil. And the lesson we must learn is never to give them air time or Oxygen again.
