Firstly I wish everyone on here the very best, and sincerely hope the rise is maintained for you all.
I sold out on Thursday, too early, and wish I had held out for this morning's rise - but I would have still sold out then.
Whilst there is no requirement for MTFB to issue and RNS, unless they have to impart market information, the question still stands as to why the sudden & meteoric rise ?
Is there news lurking, wishful thinking by PIs, or purely a pump & dump (unlikely).
We have all seen shares where there has been a buying frenzy (aka wishful thinking) with the subsequent jump in share price, only for the same buyers to then sell into the rise.
Whether this is what is happening here, who knows, but on the basis that this was priced to fail (which it was going to do literally a few days ago), has anything actually changed - other than the sp ?
Finally, genuine good luck all, but in case I'm right, be very wary of any sudden spike on no news.

Correct - depending on the rate at which any potential suitor pays mainstream CT.
However, the main point is that even at 20%, the value is still considerably north of current mcap...

Posted yesterday that being self employed, income has taken a rather large hit at the moment.
Stated that I was relieved & delighted to be in this share, as feel very confident that the gains to be had here over the next few weeks will replace lost income for me (& many others I would think).
Only problem was I posted said message on the wrong board...!!!
Still, delighted to be here, and feeling still stands.

Rightly so, Govt' have stepped up & put in place measures for PAYE employees.
SBRR for smaller entities, grant availability.
Loans ? - not the answer as for business' forced to close (pubs, restaurants etc) income = £ZERO, so how do they repay said loans ???
Self- employed (such as I am) - deferring mid year tax payment until 31 January 2020 - THANK YOU - it's not due until 31 July anyway.........
VAT payments again, DEFERRED (not cancelled) - again, THANK YOU.
Finally, thank God I'm invested here, as have a feeling that a lot of my income will be "re-placed" by gains here over the next couple of months.
Not the plan when I originally invested, but in these times, just glad that I have investments.

My Lady Wife has terminal Brain Cancer - no treatment available (either here or overseas) - weeks not months.
We've come to terms with this.
But, as my above, genuinely wish everyone is able to make a full recovery should they contract the virus, and sincerely hope that you manage not to contract, and that the chemo is a resounding success.

Agree - the poster asked a genuine question.
No one on here really knows the answer, and unfortunately some people seem to delight in posting a non answer to a question, hoping to make themselves either look, or feel as though they are the most informed person on the BB.
Personally - don't know whether they were buys or sells, as nobody does, other than the broker and the person who placed the trades.
Like everyone else, I would love to be able to tell, with 100% accuracy what every single transaction was, and whilst I'm on a role, would also really REALLY like a crystal ball, as well, please.

No RNS updates available as Rathlin Energy is a private limited company.
Look at their website - 29 August 2019 update.
Very positive.
However - if I am wrong, would love to know how a non listed company is able to post one or more RNSs.

As an Accountant, were I acting to dispose of TCG it would be all about the goodwill.......in agreeing the final value.
Easy to dismiss this when trying to purchase, but has "unquantifiable" value when selling.

Agree - will be a piecemeal series of sales (IMO).
Think the bid will be higher than current SP, but also think that all the talk of £1 + is literally just that, pure talk.
Happy to hold here at the moment (already in profit by a reasonable margin), but think this will go higher in the short term.
