I like most see the initial payment for exclusivity as a positive. I saw the extension as even more positive.
Then the rug was pulled out.

I look back now on the event fondly - why?
it demonstrated how quickly BPC SP will move if we get a hint of good news. It is one of the reasons I am not following what was otherwise sound logic from the specialist in terms of sell now and buy back lower as we approach October cut off date (extension date) or as we get towards a drill.
My Av SP today is below 2p so I am technically I profit on paper.
Would I be able to dump my full holding (or even 50%) and still hold SP above 2p? probably not this week.
Would I be able to buy back quick enough on the inevitable spike if there is good news in terms of a farm in deal? I doubt it very much.
Hence I like so many others sit on the sidelines and wait, mostly with patience, occasionally with frustration. Always with a degree of humour.

I could have sworn to it that last night I jumped in to a debate with the specialist.

Last night was maybe a moment of clarity brought about by an evening of friends, BBQ and Rioja.
today I am setting a low bar, sponsored by fried breakfast, fresh OJ and paracetamol.
No declarations of 'never drinking again' as in my opinion it is good to let the liver have an occasional work out.....but maybe lower intensity for a week or two.

We have had discussions here in the past with people who were openly short on bpc. Some didn't like the message, maybe it played on their own insecurities around bpc. Others found the reasoning informative and of value.

As I stated when you returned to the BB the content and value in some messages is lost because of the way the message is delivered.

You may have misjudged the BB. In the past we have had open and in depth discussions positive and negative on BPC.
Most will tell you that they are aware BPC was 24 months ago a binary play.
12 months ago there was an unexpected exclusivity deal that opened up a new hope for many.
More recently we have the funding and background work towards a drill.

The debate on preferred direction has been open. The impacts of funding may not be as well understood by all but most are happy to learn

Do I genuinely think that you think you are the messiah?
I have no idea if you think it or not. If you do I suggest seeking professional help.

Are you successful in winding up people on this BB.
Yes you are, but it is not just winding up those you target.

I suspect away from this BB you are a very different person, at the very least for your sake I hope I am correct.
Understanding emotional intelligence and how it can be used to bend the will of others your way is a skill. Knowing how but choosing not to is the real gift.

Specialist for the record I was not directing the all in vs all out at you or for that matter anyone else. It was me offering my view on my position.
If you have taken it upon yourself to assume it was directed towards you then you have done so in error.

you have proven yourself to hold a reasonable level of knowledge but you are also prone to errors. These increase in frequency within your posts as the emotion increases.
My childhood messiah from religious teachings was not so prone to errors.
Today my beliefs are not those prescribed to me through parental doctrine but are considered and balanced.
I do not consider you to hold such high office.

On this BB there are a good mix of people and pocket depths. For some BPC is a chance of a dream. If it fails they will have regrets, they will have lost cash they could have used for better things. However there is a non-tangible value in the dream itself.

There are those who invest with a target to achieve, I have often found these people to find satisfaction and contentment as difficult to catch and hold on to as a passing cloud. They often know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

There are also those who invest simply because they can. Sure making money is great, there is a buzz from it. If BPC goes to £1 a share it will increase their wealth but will not change their life. Equally if it falls to zero it will dent the pot a little but will do little to change what they have for sunday lunch.

I suspect you sit in the second group, if so I wish you well and hope that one day you find something that means more to you than being on the winning side or making money or putting down those you feel do not have your standing.

You have been clear that you are selling, you have shared your reasoning and your play. Looking to shed 50% with a view to buyback at a later point - subject to changes in the facts at the time.

I respect your view, your opinion, your reasoning and your willingness to share how you are playing the market. For that alone I give kudos.

you should try kicking back a bit more, your posts indicate a higher than normal level of stress.
elevated stress is proven to be detrimental to good health.

I would take player 2's handover player 1's hand every time.

It is the same with BPC, having a farm in is a preferred outcome (for those that want to see us drill) having a fall back option to self fund is not as attractive but it gives 2 possible routes to a drill.

I do not agree nor disagree with the view of sell now and buy back on placing as the correct strategy. The logic holds true that in the instance where we go to a placing doing so will bring higher rewards for those that sell and buy back.
However, it relies on placing and the buying back the volumes at the right price.
Regardless of the odds there are 2 options for BPC, stand alone or farm in. Even if the market SP suggests farm in is unlikely there is nothing to stop an 11th hour deal landing and driving a coach and horses through an otherwise sound strategy.

jim, tend to agree that it helps the company in negotiations.
The company aim is to get a drill in the ground for the long term benefit of BPC as an entity.
They have clearly stated that the preference is with a farm in partner - doing what is bet for the shareholders.
No doubt they will have run the numbers and have a farm in deal hurdle in place.
Get a partner over that line and we move forwards and drill together.
Fail to get a partner over that line and we drill alone.

BPC will be looking to deliver returns for LTHs more so than short term traders.
