Mac57 - those numbers are an estimation based on influenza activity using a computer algorithm, and not confirmed deaths by flu. 15k is also a long way shy of >100k.

It was the same article and that amount is deaths total, as I've said. Anyway, doesn't matter. Just don't believe everything you read in the DM. If over 100000 were dying in the UK over a couple of months, it'd be headline news.

There were ~100k deaths in December and January. Deaths from everything - accidents, cancer, old age etc etc. There were not 100k deaths from flu, however the DM (the trashiest tat going) choose to spin it. I read the article, which I was accused of not doing. I understood it.
