Nobody could foresee what happened here. We were all hoodwinked. The cont certainly didn't see that kind of drop (has he proved up his short or just spouting sh*te as usual?!).

It's the actions of you Pub, and the cont, since, that people have bitter taste in their mouths about. To put it in nice terms, you're both sad, lonely vultures. You try to prey on the weak. You're waiting for a chance to swing trade by continuously posting negatives, hoping that enough volume goes through. The absolute lowest of the low on here.

People may lose their shirt on here (by no fault of their own) but you guys will always be going back to an empty house, regardless of how much money you make.

I don't take pleasure in people losing money but i really do hope that Pub hangs onto his HUM shares :)

Contrarian and Publican are 2 peas in the same pod. No family, no friends, spend their lives talking their own book. I doubt even Pub's dog likes him to be honest. He could be spending more time outdoors with it than writing sh*te essays on here.

Lovely to see him reaping what he's sown today though. For such an astute 'investor' he's sunk his money into a company in Africa...and he's losing his blouse. Oh dear, what a shame, nevermind.....

The only way things get done in Africa quickly (and i use that term very loosely) is if palms are majorly greased. Then once you've agreed to terms, they'll ask for more....and more....and more. It's a waiting game of who blinks first out there. Literally, for any transaction, small or big.

LTHamigo - And anyone who has been to the US knows that it's harder to get in with an Israeli stamp in their passport than a Libyan or Iraqi one etc.

Seems the US are more paranoid on who may be spying on them than potentially attacking them.

RA is a Russian Jewish billionaire with links to Ukraine, close ties to UK (probs a lot of naughty photos and recordings). Israeli passport (love/hate with the US). Portuguese passport and major shareholder in many commodities.

The UK are scapegoating RA. I reckon a deal has been done years ago knowing this war was coming. RA hasn't been seen at Chelsea for how long? He's wanted to sell Chelsea for years now, the UK Gov make him out to be some pariah, the tabloids get their headlines. Unfort for Evraz, someone has inferred he has control (despite having less than 30%).

UK sanctioning him is smokes and mirrors. He has more on them than they do of him, guaranteed. EVR is just collateral damage but will trade again.

And it may be a cliche, but 'good' does need 'evil'.

The USA needs Russia as much as Russia needs the USA.

Both countries spend billions on defence. War, or an enemy, brings unity within a country. The money provides jobs and profits for their owners. I hope you see where I'm going...

Racctastic - the UK will do what the US want. Always the case. I'd also be inclined to deals the UK has made since Brexit with regard to this, and how they intertwine. The US is the key driver though.

I do like reading thoughts and theories etc but Occum's Razor says that the simplest explanation is usually right. And in a capitalist world, who is making money from this? I'd bet the US and Russia. But there will be a money trail somewhere.

Zelenskyy can't stop the US sanctioning RA. Facts prob are that he doesn't have much exposure over there to be worthwhile sanctioning. Or he's too valuable in another way.

Chelsea is the only reason EVR isn't trading in the UK imo. But that's only temporary.

WolfofWarks - there are plenty of facts. RA isn't part of the negotiating team, has links to Ukraine, Russia and other countries. A perfect impartial observer wouldn't you say?
