George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
As my subject title says. War has been the greatest money maker for decades. The Bush family made hundreds of millions from the Gulf Wars (who owned shares in Haliburton etc? Look up which company rebuilt Iraq ;)) Go long oil etc, short anything that'll be impacted. Sell arms on the blackmarket; give inflated contracts to companies to rebuild countries. There's billions to be made on all sides.
RA is unlikely to suffer from sanctions. He'll prob come out ahead given his business acumen and contacts. VP certainly won't suffer. It'll be the little folk, as always.
At the end of the day, it's all one big money making game, where only the whales prosper. Folk are on here all day, day after day thinking their ****y few hundred or thousand make a difference. Punts of 700,000 shares doesn't give you insight either btw - just more money or imagination than sense. Feck me, go out and enjoy your day or focus on a share that can be influenced if that's your thing.
There's some great insight on here (very rare), and some great experience in shares......but feck me, there's an awful lot of utter bu**sh*t.
ATB - I'm only here for 8k shares.
WolfofWarks - RA isn't at the peace talks in an official capacity. He isn't part of the official negotiating team. It's been repeated time and again from both sides.
Not hard to understand but I can see you're trying to twist this. For what reason, I've yet to discover but the stick is suspended....and even if it wasn't, your words have no influence.
EVR will do 150%+ the first day it trades. NT for retail though.
Portfoliopower & Jeremy - totally agree. Could never understand why folk would try to influence others with bs just to gain a few quid at their expense. But that's Cleverthoughts all over. He spent every day on the EVR board, despite apparently being on holiday in Dubai (!) to try and scaremonger. Horrible, horrible human being. And he does the same on POLY now i see that EVR can't be traded. His ego thinks he has some influence but i just hate his kind. And he's not the only one on these boards unfort.
Portfoliopower - cleverthoughts' posts aren't in the spirit of anything apart from meeting his own ends. Just look at his posting history about how nukes will be used etc. How we're never likely to see our money again.
Why doesn't he post on the EVR BB anymore? Because it isn't trading and he can't make any money off it.
CT spent so much time telling people he was just a concerned citizen looking to save people :D
All in his posting history folks ;)
CT - haha, you don't ramp or deramp. Very good. And you believe that? Your next 2 paragraphs literally went on to deramp. Not to mention your posting history. Your posts always tell what side a trade you're on. You're a fraud.
Jotom - yes, everyone should make their own decisions. Especially don't let a BB sway you. So many chancers on here unfort.
I do give my political and trading views, which can be seen in my history. Relevant to the current situation. Hope it helps someone.
VP's reign at the top is coming near to an end.
RA is closer to the West and Israel than he is to VP. He will be forefront to a regime change, or in the background backing it.
Of all the Russians I've worked with, none want to go back to a Soviet era. They enjoy being able to earn wealth and provide for their family.
EVR will be fine. I don't ever worry about the money I have tied up here.
Offmessage - I completely agree, which is what I'm doing. Just don't want to be accused of being a deramper or ramper. And like someone else said, this BB has no influence over the share price. This isn't an AIM minnow.
I encourage folk to read people's posting history to get a tell on their motivations. There's very few who have good intentions. And I know from previous experience how hard it is to ride winners!
The majority on these BBs are day traders, especially with AIM stocks. They are trying to scare you to sell or ramping it up for you to buy more. Sad thing is that, like I said, they have no influence over this yet waste their days on here.
Yep he was a Governor. I've said before that I think he'll be instrumental in a regime change (posting history circa 10th March).
He isn't that close to Putin. Different generation and money is money. Once the Soviet generation die out or are ousted, you will see a more stable, capitalist Russia.
Havefaithinmarke - you're asking a bb full of people with agendas. Set a price yourself that you're happy with, and stick to it. Any profit is a good one.
Edinlass - within the last 5 years I had £25k invested in SQZ, EUA, SLP and RRE. If I'd held on and sold near the top, I could be sitting on over a £million in my ISA. So the £20k allowance means nothing if he's made a lot elsewhere.
As jotom has said. RA has links to Russia, Ukraine and the West. As well as Israel.
Deals are made behind the scenes....not in photo ops like we see on msm. They're all for show. RA isn't part of the negotiating team but he will have a role to play. Nothing to do with EVR in that regard. He has bigger fish to fry.
Offmessage - I think most agree that POLY is worth far more than the current SP and the lower you're in, the less chance of losing any of your investment and a better yield for years to come.
Hopefully today is the beginning of the end in Ukraine.
Offmessage - yes i agree, I apologise. I skim read it and was more thinking about yields rather than cap gains.
Not sure any divi would have an impact on this low sp though, as another has pointed out. Definitely would if it was trading at a stable price.
Offmessage - that depends on the price you paid and the SP on the day.
Astralpro - ride your winners and pick a price to cash some or all out at. Only you know your risk appetite, price you paid and proportion of your overall portfolio. If you can keep 15k shares in here for years, all the better. You'll get a great return.
The war won't last forever and once the old guard from Russia have died out, or been removed, I think we'll see a more stable country. They like their money.
Ohmni - factor in dealing fees and spreads with those kind of numbers. It prob isn't worth chopping and changing. I bought £300 worth at £1.27 in my son's JISA and I won't be touching it.
Not financial advice per say, but fees and spreads add up. ATB
